Review: Brought my [redacted] to this shop with a cracked valve cover, worn flex plate, and scratched camshaft August 5th of 2014. Paid $2750 for a full engine rebuild that took about a month. August 30th, 2015 was when my vehicle was returned to me. I drove the vehicle less than 100 miles over the next few months (due to electrical issues) until march of 2015. I heard a knocking in my engine I knew to be one of my rocker arms being dismounted. I pulled over in a person's driveway about 2 miles from my house and took a look at it. The back nut for my front left rocker was stripped beyond use. Limped the vehicle to the shop and requested that the issue be fixed, and was told that since it was at their fault, they would repair the vehicle. I waited 3 whole months before I was told I should purchase the performance back nuts for $80. I bought them and waited another 2 months before the part came in. I was not notified that the part came in. I went to the shop to check the progress and was then told that I will now need a new camshaft and pushrods. This was in June. I waited until September to demand a refund for the parts I paid for, but were now dysfunctional in under 100 miles. I am removing my vehicle from their lot tomorrow and am being forced to figure out how to tow it because they are changing locations. So I am now without nearly $3,000 and am still in the same position I was in when I got the rebuild. If I wanted to have my vehicle collect dust somewhere other than my driveway I sure as hell would not have paid $3,000 for it to do so at this shady auto shop.Desired Settlement: I want my money so I may finish the repair myself and sell the vehicle.
