Review: contacted company to replace pinstriping on a vehicle door that had just been painted because of an accident. he was unable to give estimate over the phone saying he would neeed to see vehicle . said I could come to him , meet him somewhere or he could come to my home. asked for area I live - I did not give him address just general location . I told him I'd call him when I got home. He came to my home as I arrived from errands. started striping vehicle without offering me an estimate. showed me some small decals, jewels as he called them. he asked if I liked them I said they were OK. he immediately put them on my vehicle without getting my approval or telling me the cost. tells me I owe him $95 for the 5 minutes of work and 2 small 26" pinstripes with "jewels". questioning his prices the next day he said it included a service call fee.

#1. He did not give me the option of bringing the car to his shop - 2 miles away. Forcing his service call fee on me. I did not ask or authorize him to make a service call .

#2. Placing extra cost jewels on my car without my approval or telling me the cost.

#3. He failed to provide me with a receipt even after requesting one.

#4. He asked me what would make it right I responded telling him a refund of $45 would be fair. Feeling $50 total was reasonable. Never heard back after this.Desired Settlement: Refund of $45 .

After speaking with the installer we will not be issuing a refund. [redacted] received superior quality product and service. The installer was given the address.
