After waiting two weeks to receive my materials, so I could fulfill my customers' orders, I tried to contact Streichs twice, via email, to no response. I tried calling a number I found online, but the immediate recording said they weren't taking calls. I *thinkI left a voicemail, but I'm not even sure if it's a valid - or their - number. I'm frustrated that I've already paid, I have to find another vendor to replace them, and now my customers are upset that their orders are outstanding. I've had such good experience in the past with this company. This was order ***.
On 3/5/18 contacted Steve Streich via email asking he re-create 2 custom candy molds that I had another company make for me. That company had gone out of business. Sent photos to Steve and he said he could do it for me no problem. I asked if he would return my original molds with the order and he stated he would. On 3/6/18 I sent the molds to Steve. I sent two emails, 3/25 and 4/4 asking for an update. No response. On 4/10 I sent an email asking Steve to return my molds. He responded with a story stating he never knew the molds came into his shop due to miscommunication but he had started my order the previous Sunday when he found the molds in his store. That was the last date I heard from him, 4/10. On 4/27 I sent an email asking for a progress update. No response. I sent 4 emails asking him to return my molds, 5/12, 5/18, 5/22 and 5/31. The 5/31 email also went to Steve’s wife Michelle. On 6/1, received email from Michelle stating she was sure Steve would respond to my emails. I responded asking her when I should expect a response. No response from her. On 6/21 I sent her another email and again received no response. These 2 molds were very special to me.
It should be noted that Steve did previously complete an order for me, same type order, re-created a custom mold. He told me it would take 2 weeks. It did take him much longer but at least I received what he promised.
I have not received items that were ordered/paid for online and am not receiving any type of communication from the company.
Ordered products from Streichs.com on 2/2/2018 and rendered full payment at that time. Items have not been received and NO communication has been sent since confirmation of order. When looking at my online account, the order simply states "Processing" with no delivery details or items status. Emailed the company (since there is no phone number given on the site or online searches) on 2/14/2018 and have not received any communication or delivery updates on items.
Would love to receive purchased items, but if unavailable, please issue immediate refund.
We ordered many custom thermoformed chocolate bar molds from this company, and there were issues with at least half of them (bubbling/mottled surfaces of molds, inclusions in molds, irregular sizing of molds, etc.). All of these issues transfer directly to the chocolate bars when used, and therefore make the molds unusable. When I communicated this to the company, they began an "investigation", but then stopped communicating with me. I made MANY attempts to communicate via both phone and email, with no response from the company. To this day, I am unable to use the molds I paid for, and I have not received any refund or replacement products. The company sells defective products, and then fails to provide adequate customer service when there is a problem. I am upset at how they conduct business, and believe there should be some sort of retribution for their actions. Additionally, based on public reviews about this company, several other customers have had similar experiences.
