Review: College has practiced unethical billing by charging students (me) for classes that I did not attend. In addition, attempting to charge for classes that I was told that were paid by financial aid. I have attempted to follow the procedures speaking to numerous representatives of the school however never receiving relief. This would include the Dean.Desired Settlement: Desired outcome is relief of charges for (2) summer classes that I did attend and was not notified that I was even able to attend. Once I found out I was told that I had to pay anyway.

Review: I am a returning student who after a few years decided to complete this degree for advancement at my job. After reviewing my prior credits the staff at the Christiana Delaware site initially stated that I needed 6 classes to complete the program. After further review, I was advised that I only needed to complete 3 classes for the Masters Degree. I enrolled and took the classes as specified and did well in all. Based on what I was initially advised by your staff and what is showing on Strayers' system, I have satisfied the educational requirements for a masters degree.
Today, I was informed from your competent staff at the Christiana Delaware site that I have not met the requirements to complete this program and need to take one more class. This situation will directly affect me financially, I am being considered for a management position based on the belief that I can fulfill the requirements of the job which is having a masters degree now, not 10 weeks later. Another component is that my job requires counseling certification for advancement, I had planned to take the CDAC which requires 1 year of job experience and a masters degree, again keeping me from an opportunity now, not 10 weeks later.Desired Settlement: At this point, ALL I WANT IS OUT OF THIS SCHOOL with what I was promised, my masters degree in business administration. If not I will seek legal recourse.
