I purchased my Samsung Galaxy at Wal Mart and signed up for Straight Talk Should have done my due diligence first, shame on me After struggling for some time with poor connectivity and very slow service, it was apparently determined the SIM card was bad We had several conversations, they finally said they'd send a new SIM card but could not do any better than five to seven work days for delivery I waited a week for the card, and when it arrived it was the WRONG CARD!!! So now I have to wait another five to seven days for another card Unbelievable!!! The WILL NOT overnight a card, even though the initial SIM was crappy and the replacement was the WRONG CARD This is my only phone, I'm a nurse who works PRN which means unless I can be reached by phone, I don't work AT ALL!!! Absolutely disgraceful Shame, shame, shame on Straight Talk
I have never been a customer of Straight Talk Airtime, no one in my family has ever been a customer of Straight Talk Airtime Three times now in the last days we have had to battle fraudulent charges from Straight Talk Airtime Because of this we have had to cancel and reissue our credit cards and have had to work with our bank to get refunds for the fraud We will also be filing with the Florida Attorney General as it appears this is a standard of practice for Straight Talk Airtime

My daughter got an IPhone 5s for ChristmasI chatted with straight talk and got her phone activated just fine I then tried to activate her old phone (which was a BLU phone) for my youngest and it turned into a nightmareBefore Christmas Day I had previously chatted with straight talk and made sure that there was nothing extra I needed to purchase or anything to get the BLU phone up and running for my youngest So with that being said after activating the Iphone for my oldest I told them that I wanted to activate the Blu phone with a totally new phone number They then proceed to tell me that I would need a new sim card to do that Now mind you I asked them numerous times before Christmas Day what I needed You can't go out and buy just a sim card They have to mail you one (imagine that) Ok so they get one in the mail That was problem that I had been misinformed with the wrong information Now on with problem 2...my youngest was heartbroken that she could use her new phone so I went to Walmart and bought a BYOP kit that had a ton of sim cards in it I chatted with Straight talk and told them I had a Sim card to activate the Blu phone Well all would have been good EXCEPT in the process of activating the Blu phone with a new sim card that needed a new phone number they moved my oldest daughter's number from her new IPHONE back to the Blu I never mentioned the phone number or Iphone in the conversationThat was activated and over with So ok people make mistakes So about minutes later they tell me they have to mail me a new Sims card for the iphone to move her number back So here is problem number 2..They messed up again and the only way to fix it is to mail out another sim card They do not get in any hurry about it either It was there mistake and they should have overnighted the sim but I received it days later Ok so today I received both sim cards (the one for the Blu Phone and Iphone) so I thought ok let get these phones going Boy was I wrong...enter problem number I called up good old Straight talk and tried to get going and before we could even get started I noticed they had sent me the wrong sim card for the iphone 5s So after telling them exactly what I thought of their business I asked to speak to a manager and demanded this sim card be overnighted They told me they don't overnight This is ridiculous No one knows what they are doing there and do not over to even apologize or make things right That is no way to run a business If I did not have so much money tied up in them I would be gone! Having been a Straight Talk customer since (late), I have had nothing but negative encounters with their customer service at the beginning, I consulted with the customer service about a choice of phone, I purchased a recommended phone at Walmart, only to find that the phone suggested would not let me even check my e-mail since that time, I have gone through a number of phones (or 6?), ALL LGs or ZTEs this last experience (the reason I am writing) found me without a phone(again) for an extended period since May 29, the phone I sent was lost in their warehouse, the replace ticket was cancelled, I found this out after calling THEM on(or about) June at which time, after much fussing, and even being transferred to TRACFONE (their supposed corporate anchor) I was promised that I would receive a Samsung Galaxy Core (i think I wrote that right) I was told to expect the phone on wednesday(today) I raced through rush-hour traffic after work, made the post office, found I had received two(2)!! boxes one was for shipping a phone back(done that MANY times!!!), and one contained an LG model phone!!!! calls to straight talk were deferred to Tracfones office where some VERY sarcastic/insulting guy (who identified himself as "assistant floor boss) called himself back-checking facts that I had already given him, told me that the Samsung ticket had been cancelled and I was to keep the LG I requested HIS boss, and was placed on hold for possibly minutes!!!! , after which, some guy came to the phone, he was also insulting, tried to tell me that I had never purchased a phone worthy of a swap for a Samsung!! then when I tried to walk him back through this whole mess, he hung up on me!!!! what would YOU do ??? btw if any company people are trolling here the number is two-six-seven-two five zero-eight-six-six-one UNbelieveably [redacted] !!!!

While trying to add airtime they continually asked for things I had to hang up and call back to renew Of course, this put me back into a ridiculous voice mail system from which there is NO WAY to get to an operator When I asked for the person who asked me to call back, I was told "we can put you through to that department, but there is no way we can transfer you directly to her." That department then tells me "we have a lot of people named _____ here and no way to transfer you to the right one I will help you." She then asks me the same questions, I give the same answers plus the information I had just given, and am told I need yet another number that I will have to hang up, find and call back with When she said okay, call back and ask for ____" I nearly lost it since I had just gone through that and been told it was impossible to transfer me to the same person I call back and finally get someone who seems to know what customer service is He is the one who changed my pin to one I could easily remember (I have two that I use for almost everything) and finally gets the job done Several of the things they told me they had to do were direct violations of FCC regulations My summary, this company need to learn what customer service means My second summary, they need to fix their voice recognition system to allow for immediate transfer to a customer service rep if that is what the customer wants Their customer service personnel would thank them I am sure since people would not already be irate before they even say hello

This is the fourth day of trying to reestablish service with a Verizon Straight Talk phone I used just six months ago at this same location I have been told: -The phone is not compatible -You don't have service at your location -It needs to be factory reset -You don't need a SIM card -You need a SIM card My phone STILL remains inoperable The last "senior" supervisor April (agent number XXXXXXXXX) refused to connect me to technical support saying they "knew nothing more than the representatives" and refused to connect me to a stateside operator I have spent a total of 3,hours on the phone over the four days of TRYING patiently to get service connected on this phone that was working fine with ST just six months ago MOST FRUSTRATING experience EVER I will contact the attorney general's office and report how they have had me order items not needed and to question the legitimacy of their service originating from the Philippines, because the language barrier was so bad it took 4X the time to communicate things I will never recommend ST to anyone
