This company will scam you for a "membership" fee and will not return calls or provide any updates on the assistance they were to provide.

StraightDefined targets people in a very vulnerable stage. I was assisting a person that was homeless & had a wanted ad on Craigslist for a room. Straightdefined reached out & via phone & stated they help with housing & much more & a very low cost with a membership fee. Membership fee is $54 per month, this must be collected prior to assistance. Which was a red flag I should have caught. Well I was in desperate need to help my friend so I paid it. Only to never get a call back and be blocked from their text free apps.

It is very sad they would take from the people who are already struggling. Very distrusting people. *** should be ashamed of herself promoting assistance to the struggling.

This company - THE DIAL CALL CENTER - advertises on *** and Austin ***, pulling in potential applicants/employees to apply for an at-home position as a Job Recruiter. They inform applicants that in order to qualify for the position, that a company phone must be paid for. THE DIAL CALL CENTER submits an invoice (The invoice is created by waveapps.com) in the amount of $43.28. After that invoice has been paid (which I'm certain most have used their very own debit/credit cards), THE DIAL CALL CENTER then submits online paperwork, via email, by a company named "***" where applicants are asked to upload their Drivers' License and Social Security Cards. After all of this is done, NO tracking number is ever received for the phone that the applicants paid for and NO job instructions are ever received. Also, it seems as one person is posing as several different people because ironically, each and every person I've spoken to - who has a different name - has the same voice but seems to be trying to change it up a bit (though deeming unsuccessful). Applicants are asked to download the VONAGE BUSINESS and AMAZON CHIME apps to their phone. Upon going into the VONAGE BUSINESS app, I noticed a phone number with an extension had been set up for me, so I called Vonage to investigate the matter, giving them full details as to what was going on, and with my information, THE DIAL CALL CENTER'S Vonage Business Account has been forwarded to their fraud department. I need this business investigated, thoroughly, because there are innocent people, like myself, looking for jobs, only to get scammed like this and it just seems so unfair and very cruel, to be honest. Please advise me of the results of this investigation. Thank you, in advance.
