We operate two newspapers out of our Shelburne, VT office, Shelburne News and The Citizen, which covers Charlotte and HinesburgWhenever anyone inquires about advertising they are offered both newspapers.Ms*** indicated she was interested in advertising her Charlotte officeIt would not have
raised a red flag that Ms.*** wrote she wanted to advertise in "The *** ***" as many refer to The Citizen as "The *** ***" or "the Charlotte paper".She ran two different ads, one called "*** at Charlotte" and the other "*** at Charlotte"Both ads clearly feature only Charlotte practitioners and say they're accepting new patients at the Charlotte practice.Clearly there was no advantage to us in "forcing" Ms*** to advertise in The Citizen if she wanted to advertise in Shelburne News- she would have been paying $per week in Shelburne News instead of the $per week she paid in The CitizenSimply put, we placed her advertisements in the newspaper that she requested.As soon as Ms*** told us to pull her ads we didBut it is unreasonable to expect a refund for something that is one’s own error

“Simply put” my ad absolutely did NOT run in the paper that I requested That’s the entire point of my complaint I emailed the Shelburne News, mistakenly requested the *** *** and my ad was placed in the Citizen The Citizen and the *** *** are different newspapers I never requested to place an ad in the Citizen They are twisting the facts They also never explained the two newspaper options to me (as they claim they always do) This is very frustrating, as I would have liked to advertise in the Shelburne News but will choose not to do business with them anymore
