Stott & Group Accounting Service

Review: Stott and Stott ([redacted] Stott) does my personal and business tax work I've had numerous appointments since the second week in January to get my 4th quarter 2013 taxes done. Each and every appointment (8 to date) Mr. Stott cancels through his receptionist ([redacted]) claiming he's sick. His receptionist tells me Mr. Stott will call me with a new appointment which he never does. After the last 2 cancellations made by Mr. Stott's receptionist, claiming he's at home sick, I called Mr. Stott's office one to two hours later and spoke to [redacted] again, asking for Mr. Stott. [redacted] would then inform me he was with a client (not at home sick). It is obvious Stott and Stott is intentionally avoiding their responsibilities and has no intention of performing the service I am dependent on them doing. Stott and Stott has all of my past tax reports and investment history which I need and they refuse to keep appointments to make them available to me. Stott and Stott has now put me in a position for a possible penalty from the IRS and state and local governments for being tardy in filing my 4th quarter of 2013 estimated taxes.Desired Settlement: I can no longer trust [redacted] Stott of Stott and Stott and have already arranged for other companies to handle my tax and investment services. I need Stott and Stott to hand over all of my tax and investment files after I reimburse them for their services rendered for the first 3 quarters of 2013 and commit to pay any future penalties I might receive due to their irresponsibility.
