I am rejecting this response because:
I have my girlfriend as a witness that she was the one who give me a ride to the ER and saw me provide my insurance to them on my visitAlso, I did not reply to the other mails because when they contact by phone I change my address and they did not even bother to ask about and update about it, but where just focusing on asking for the paymentI consider that the treatment I am receiving by the business is not fair and they are taking advantage of my lack of knowledge of the American Health Care System, as well as the fact that I am an international student that has no family to support me in this processAt the same time, my condition of not being a native English speaker is limiting my communication through this media with the business and is not letting me express my frustration clearly. I want to have a meeting to with whoever is necessary at Citizen Memorial Hospital to clarify all thisI want the to the bottom of it without any lies or excuses because so far that is all I have received from your part
Sincerely,

* The complainant ([redacted]) was seen in our Emergency Room on 09/19/16. There was no insurance entered on the account at the time of registration and no insurance paperwork was scanned in. There are no notes of any conversation...
with the patient about insurance. A Consent for Health Care & Payment Agreement for CMH Services was signed at the time of service. First statement was mailed to the patient 09/26/16. No contact from the patient in response. Letter was mailed to the patient 10/21/16. No contact from the patient in response. Had the patient responded to this initial statement or letter with his insurance information, we would have been able to bill the ER visit to his insurance. Additional letters were sent 11/18/16 and 12/09/16, again with no response. A phone message was left for the patient on 06/20/17, with no response. A letter was mailed to the patient on 06/23/17 explaining that the account would be sent to a Collection Agency if we didn’t hear back on payment arrangements. Again, no response was received. The account was sent to our outside Collection Agency on 07/14/17. We contacted the Collection Agency and were told letter was sent on 07/23/17. No payments were received. They spoke to the patient on 11/07/17. He stated he was trying to figure this out with his insurance if they will pay or not and will contact them if it needs to be put on a payment plan. We handled the account as Self-Pay, as that was the only information available at the time of service or at any time after until this complaint was received, which was well over a year after the date of service. If you need any additional information, please let me know. [redacted] Director of Revenue Cycle Citizens Memorial Hospital
