DO NOT ORDER FROM Stork News' ** LOCATION in [redacted]!

I have five children and have purchased a decorative baby bundle for each of them. My previous four experiences were terrific! The bundles were beautiful and we still enjoy hanging them in the children's playroom.

Most recently, I found myself living out of the general vicinity of a franchisee and purchased one from the ** location. It was a disaster!

The purchase made was for $21 and the item recorded $45! When we contacted the company, they defended the charge on the grounds that "shipping charges are subject to change." Not a problem if that were the case, but the site still at this moment indicates the previous shipping price for which they doubled when they actually sent it.

What's worse is that the item showed up bent in half. This is a decorative art piece that is meant to be shipped in a very certain way to ensure its aesthetic value. It is garbage now.

We have made repeated contact with the company over the last few days. Each person who answered has provided a different story and each person has failed to allay any of our concerns about the charges or a willingness to send an acceptable (non broken) item. This afternoon I was told, "this is not our problem." "We don't send multiple bundles unless you want to buy another." Obviously frustrated, I tried to elevate the call only to be denied that right.

This company knows nothing about customer service and fails to operate in any interest of its customers.
