unitsMy employees are following policy when Mr*** gave his vacate notice prompting him being told that there would be a balance due for the extra days that he occupied the unitThe inspection ticket was generated & when the unit was checked it was unlocked & empty, Mr*** has been a good paying customer & we appreciate that very muchI closed out the account since it the unit was empty & got it ready to re-rent, closing his account & clearing any amount that may have been dueI have not billed or contacted Mr*** after his account was closed the 1st part of MayHe would have also been receiving invoices & past due notices if there was an open balance, which there is notPlease contact me if you have further questions or need additional assistance. past due & when you sign into your account it will bring up all the charges that are due. She did not understand that if she wanted to pay a different amount than the total due you had to change the amount. Mrs. [redacted] did not change what she actually wanted to pay so it processed everything that was owed. I’m not sure how her bank processes transactions but I’m assuming it showed her funds for $241 as pending even tho I had already voided it. There was nothing for us to release & we did not hold or take any of her funds. I explained this to her, that it had been voided, all she had to do was wait for her bank to drop the pending which may have taken a day or two. I did talk with her some time later & she did confirm that nothing had been taken out. Thank you, Lisa M[redacted] Owner/Manager STOR-A-LOT STORAGE lisam[redacted][email protected]
