[redacted] and [redacted] booked our place with no construction completedOur project was suppose to be finished in September of [redacted] PA are building our barnIt is not traditional "stick build construction." Once the [redacted] start the build it will take them less than days to completely erect the buildingIt is a modern day barn raisingEvery meeting that I had with [redacted] and [redacted] I only relayed what was being told to me by the [redacted] , General Contractor, Architects and Subs, I have never lied to themThere have been numerous delays completely out of my controlI hope they don't think that there is something we have done to delay the progressWe are devastated that the project isn't completeAt our last meeting we gave them three optionsThey could receive all their money back and get married somewhere else, they could change their date to a date in the future, or they still get married at our place with their reception being under the tentThey decided to have their reception in the tentWe spent in excess of $15, out of our own pocket to give them the most beautiful wedding that we could possibly give themI have all the receipts to prove these chargesIn [redacted] 's settlement response she stated they could of rented a tent and had their wedding in their backyardThey could of but they didn't chose to go that routeIt would of cost them times what they paid us [redacted] is now slandering our good name all around town and opening herself up for a libel suit by defaming us on social mediaWe have not raised our depositWe have not run out of moneyThe barn is on site and will be erected days from nowI escorted her grandma to the $a day luxury portable bathroom myselfThey spent hours at our place getting ready and taking photosWe set up the entire reception using some of our decorations and some of her decorations To rent our tables and chairs for either their backyard or at some other venue would of cost them almost the same amount of money that they gave us for their whole wedding We rented the best of everything that we could find, not skimping on anythingWe are truly sorry that the construction wasn't finished for themI only wish that I could of done anything about any of the construction delays [redacted] and I are good peopleIt makes me very sad to think that after everything we have both been through that [redacted] and [redacted] think otherwise
