We agree that there is a siding issue on the west side of the *** home, and Stone Cottage plans to have the siding removed and new siding installed There have been several inspections of the siding over the past months; we have had the supplier look at the issue, a representative from
the manufacturer has also looked at it It is the opinion of the experts that have looked at the issue that there is no risk of damage to the home or it's integrity, but rather, this is a cosmetic issue The delay in getting the siding replaced is now due to a lack of cooperation or response from the subcontractor who did the installation It is likely that Stone Cottage will have to take legal action against the subcontractor, and therefore we are proceeding carefully as to not jeaopardize our legal position We will be having another siding contractor remove and replace the affected siding The replacement siding will be delivered next week (week of Sept5-8, 2017) and the work should be done within a couple days of the material being delivered
