I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
We did accept *** offer to bring our car to the dodge facilityThey however didn't come up with anything besides changing the spark plugsWe did have the spark plugs that were misfiring changed twice, both times at *** fordWe also changed them once ourselves because we weren't going to pay $again just to have spark plugs changed. The issues we had with the car still kept happening even after the spark plugs were changedWe don't believe the spark plugs are the issue and there is something more with the carChanging the spark plugs makes the issue go away for a couple weeks but the same thing keeps happeningFor out of pocket expense we have had to pay $If Mr. *** thinks that is a minimal amount to spend on a car we have only had a year and has less than 35,miles, we would gladly except a reimbursement from him. I either want the issue resolved completely or want to trade the vehicle inI want an equal trade or work out something where *** and us as well, are happy with the end resultI want this issue resolved as soon as possible because we are tired of paying for a car that we cant use
Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
When we bought the vehicle it obviously had [redacted]park plugs in it and a month later we started having issues. We then took it to Stoltz ford twice and they put [redacted]park plugs in it. Yes, we did put the [redacted] spark plugs in but at that point did it really matter what spark plugs were in it, when they had been changed so many times and we have had so many issues with it. I think the bigger issue is why we had to replace the spark plugs so many times. There's a bigger issue going on with the vehicle and no one wants to look in to it. No, we haven't had issues yet with these spark plugs, but they haven't been in the car that long. Does Mr. [redacted] think we are lying because no codes showed up? I don't know why the codes wont show up and no one at Stoltz Dodge could explain it either. I can say the check engine lite was on numerous times and it acted like it was going to stall out. Would you Mr. [redacted] put your family in this vehicle? We shouldn't have to be scared to drive the vehicle with our children in it. I would be more than happy to trade the car in and whatever our negative equity from the previous vehicle be added to the new loan. But I do want a fair price for the vehicle that we have.

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The [redacted]'s did purchase a 2009 Dodge Journey from our Toyota store on 3/5/2013. They stated the purchase price was $23622.94, it was...
actually $18999.00 less $7000.00 for trade allowance ($11999 difference). The $23622.94 they stated includes $1740 negative equity on trade in vehicle, $1450 for a 6 yr/ 60,000 extended service contract, tax and fees.
I can understand the frustration the [redacted]'s are having with their vehicle. On the positive side, it is very fortunate that the [redacted]s purchased an extended service contract, this has kept their out of pocket expenses to a minimum.
As of the writing of this letter we have called the [redacted]s and asked them to bring their vehicle in for diagnostics. At this time we will road-test the vehicle and do a computer scan at no charge. If repairs are required we will provide them with a service loaner at no charge. This appointment is set for March 28,2014 at the [redacted]s convenience.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: I purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey from Stoltz-Scion in DuBois in March 2013. Starting in April of the same year we started having issues with the vehicle. On April 25th we took the vehicle to Stoltz ford to get looked at because the check engine light came on. Cylinder #4 was misfiring and they changed the spark plug. Then May 16th the vehicle went back to Stoltz ford because of the car alarm going off randomly and a fuse kept blowing. There were codes present for steering angle sensor internal and SAS erratic performance. The steering angle sensor was replaced. I had to take the car back to June 12 to get a wire replaced because there was a screw found going through the wiring from the passenger side mirror. In August we had the car back to Stoltz Ford because the car kept acting like it was going to stall out and the check engine light came on when going up hills. Again it was a cylinder but this time it was cylinder #6. They pulled the plug and found it was carboned up and they replaced it. November 11th we had to have the vehicle towed because I was going up a hill the vehicle acted like it was going to stall, the check engine light came on and the vehicle filled up with smoke. The vehicle was towed to Stoltz Dodge in Dubois. The transfer case had to be replaced along with a new transmission put in. The car was at Stoltz dodge till December 17th. In January of 2014 the check engine light came on for a few seconds and went off. I went to Stoltz Scion to trade the car in and they would only give me $14000 not what I owe for it. March 5 I was driving up a hill the car was stalling out and the check engine light was flashing again. I have only had this car a little over a year and have had enough issues with it. I would like to get rid of the car and not be stuck with something that isn't reliable and breaks down. This is our family car and the pass two times when it broke down my two young kids who are under the age of 2 were in the car.Desired Settlement: I want a new car.
