Michael S*** completely lacks the knowledge to provide the services he offersHe has no knowledge of Florida building codes, practices, and methodsHe brags about the ability to provide hand drawn drawings, but in actuality this is a detriment and a hindrance to efficiencyI provided him with exact floor plans and the reasons for specific dimensions, and he refused to stay within those guidelines, or produce plans with the written specificationsAfter several months of delays, he finally provided incomplete plans that amounted to six pages (compared to the pages with required details from the building department I ended up with after finishing the drawings myself), that were not acceptable by the building department for submittalI provided him with a list of the deficiencies, and he essentially refused to address them, and his response was get someone else to finish the plansI ended up having to finish the plans myself; DO NOT waste your time or money with him, he will lie about the time frame, not give you what you need to submit for permitting, and you will end up going somewhere else anywayHe will claim to be cheaper than anyone else and faster, but you literally get what you pay for which is nothing usableHe is from the Northeast, and has no clue what is required in FL
Even though I've wasted enough time and money on this job, I am compelled to respond to Jeff B[redacted]s false and negative review on me. After working on this project for the last three months, I've come to the conclusion that It's no wonder why no one wanted to work on this project prior to me. Right there that should have giving me a red flag a month into the project that there was going to be a problem. Every once in a while a Jeff B[redacted], a general contractor slips through the cracks and comes along ( every architects, engineer and draftsman's worst nightmare) and soon to be the sub-contractors that will be working on his house. With the intent to take advantage and abuse the services provided and try to tarnish there reputation, in my case Jeff, you failed! It is true that I charge a low rate, provide good service and don't charge for extras that other companies do and that's why I have a lot of satisfied clients through word of mouth, sorry Jeff, your not one of them. Jeff B[redacted] never filed plans with the building department, how could he, he was to busy making changes every other day for the past three months. It got to the point where even my engineer got tired of all the changes and did not want to get involved with this job anymore, I don't blame him. Jeff says because I'm from up north I don't know the Florida building codes, news flash Jeff... then how is it that I got three building permits for my other clients while I was putts in around with your job for the last three months.
