Stockton Travelers Motel

Review: On august 1,2015 [redacted] the manager at Stockton travlers motel rented me a room that had no door nob or lock on the door,no bed & linens, air conditioning didn't work,water from across the hall leaked in under door, no use of rest room the door wasnt even on or the closets. I was given a dirty sheet to use, and then removed out of that rm and put in another rm that was even worse with no carpet and workers comeing in and out. When I requested for my money back [redacted] said ok at first, but when I asked again her husband said she had went home already. I asked again the following day and was told she have it for me as soon as the check I gave her cleared.Several days later my sister who has all power attorney over me went with me and we asked her again about my money [redacted] got angry and said that she was charging me for 5 days cause I inquierd and regesterd a room. When my sister seen the rooms I was put in she got me out and I only was in both rooms a total of 2hrs if that long.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and for the motel to really be investagated and fined for takeing my money.

Review: I have a huge list of complaints this place is HORRIBLE and management doesnt take their business very serious at all. These people are money hungry and could care less about the way the business looks or how their tenants are taken care of. I was in a room where the door had no lock and I had no bed, Microwave, fridge or cable. They have a terrible infestation of roaches and bed bugs and have on halfway tried to take care of the roaches (they didn't even pay to have all the rooms sprayed). I was here for a very short lived stay because I couldn't believe how badly it was. There were people hanging out being loud doing drugs etc. at all hours of the night, come to find out when you would go to the manager to ask them to take care of it they would be part of the people who were out making noise. I asked numerous amounts of times if I could get a fridge, microwave and bed or a different room and all times I asked I was pushed aside or told they would take care of it and It would never happen. I witnessed one of their "maintenance" men walking around with a meth pipe in his hand just out in the open. When I finally got fed up and asked for a refund or some of my money back for the room I stayed in that they refused to give me all the advertised items they said they couldn't give it back to me. other complaints:manager not on sight at all times when needed.been witness to tenants involved in verbal altercations with others and management stood laughed and watched instead of stepping in.allow drugs on property.allow prostitution in rooms.charge tenants money for items that should be free such as toilet paper and washing linens.charged everyone different prices for rooms.something needs to be done about this place and these people. they take advantage just to get what they want.Desired Settlement: Id like to see the business and management investigated because something isn't right about this place or these people.

Review: m y sister [redacted] has a mental ill condition and the owner of the stockton travlers motel is well aware of her condition. on the 26 of july, 2015 [redacted] went into the office at the motel and asked [redacted] who runs the place if she had any rooms avaliable? [redacted] informed [redacted] that there were none avaible at that time she was still cleaning and fixing them. [redacted] then replyed ok and then left.Latter on that day [redacted] did tell me that she aske [redacted] about a room. on the 3rd of August [redacted] told [redacted] A ROOM was ready and was taken to room 206 at the stockton travlers motel where she was given a nasty bed sheet that was taken out of the trash for her to sleep on while she was to sleep on the floor of her motel room. the room had no bed, no clean linen, no lamp, no drawers to any of the three dressers, no tv, no phone, no door nob or lock on her entrance door, no curtains on window, no screens on eather bathroom indow, the closet and restroom doors were both off and leaning on the wall, the restroom had posted memos on sink, and toliet, the rest room leakedwater really bad, the airconditoner didnt work, and the room across the hall from 206 airconditoner leakes water so badly that it flows under the door to room 206. [redacted] stayed in 206 for maybe a half hour then she was moved to another room 210 at stockton travlers motel here she was to also slep on the floor but this time the floor in 210 didnt even have carpet, [redacted]s so called non liciend contractors she has working for her was also in and out of room 210 [redacted] could have easly hurt herself or been hurt by someone and when I ound out about this I amidently went and found my sister and she went and told [redacted] thatshe didnt want to be in those rooms she wanted her money back because the rooms were not ready to be in. [redacted] then stated ok that she woud take [redacted] check back to service the following day. when [redacted] and I went to service first we were told that [redacted] has not returnd anything. when [redacted] and I asked [redacted]Desired Settlement: [redacted] stayed in that room for only 2 hrs I dont see how she should be charged $650.00 for a room in that kind of condition for one, and for two hours. [redacted] is in my care and I am not ok with anyone takeing advantage of anyone who is a child, elder, or someone with a mental disabilty. I feel that [redacted] should be given all her money back.
