Stockton Indoor Sports Complex

Review: I took my children roller skating at Stockton Indoor Sports Complex, sometime around August 2014. Shortly after entering (within 15 minutes), my 8 year old son became very ill and was throwing up. I explained to the management that was on duty, the situation and asked for a refund, as we had to leave 15 minutes after arriving. we had barely gotten our skates on and didn't even have the opportunity to get on the rink and skate. The manager explained to me that per the business policy, I was unable to get a refund, but he could give me three passes (for myself and two children), which we could return and use at any future date, without an expiration date.On Friday, November 27th, at approximately 8:00PM, I returned to the Stockton Indoor Sports and attempted to enter with the three passes I was previously given. I was told the passes I had were not valid. I was given the explanation, "too many people made copies of these passes, so we had to switch to a different pass." I was quite confused and had no idea there would be a problem with us gaining admission with the passes we were given. The gentleman I dealt with showed no signs of understanding, was extremely rude, and basically told me unless I was going to pay, we'd have to leave.In my opinion, this is a very poor way to run and conduct business. There are no "expiration dates," notated on the passes I received. I departed this business with a very bad taste in my mouth, and an overwhelming feeling that I needed to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for three admission tickets that I purchased and was unable to use.

I remember this gentleman he showed up with passed that were from 2012 we have given a lot of those out then for winning games like red light green light a parent called me in October of 2012 saying she witness a individual making photo copies of our old paper passes so we can not use those any more in Dec of 2012 we mad business card passes that can't be duplicated by the consumer. We are just going by our policy and can not redeem those paper skate passes I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

As I stated in my original complaint, these passes we're giving to me last year as "rain checks," due to my son becoming ill as he was trying on his skates. I purchased and paid for three entries into the Stockton Indoor Sports Skating Facility. Within approximately 10 minutes upon arriving, I spoke with who I believed to be the manager and explained to him my situation. He seemingly understood and said he'd be happy to give us three passes to return at our convenience. At this time, an expiration date on the passes was never conveyed to me. Had there been, I would have made sure I came back in time.
