My wife bought a Mazda in march of from Stivers Ford Mazda in Montgomery AlI recently called to have warranty service doneI was informed that Starting "sometime in march 2016" ,according to a service manager, that Stivers would no longer perform warranty service on Mazda'sWhen asked why, the service person did not knowWhen I asked where I could have warranty service done , she said she thought Birmingham Alwhich is miles from where I liveStivers is miles from where I liveToday Feb 2016, I called to get more information on when and why they will not warranty the cars they sell anymore starting "sometime in March", I was told that they sold the Mazda franchise and stopped doing warranty repairs on Feburary 2016, a week before I called the first time and had told me sometime in MarchI then asked to talk to a managerI'm not sure what manager thoughHe said that Montgomery Mitsubishi will be honoring Mazda warranties in Montgomery from now on I was suspicious for sure then , so I asked Stivers manager "if I call Mitsubishi and ask them if they honor Mazda warranties now, are they going to say yes"? Stivers manager said yesI called Mitsubishi Montgomery and they said "no, Stivers Ford is lying to you and other people too because we have had many inquiries about the same thing you are asking" I then decided to call Mazda salesman at Stivers FordI asked him do they still sell new Mazda's? He said yesI asked do you still honor Mazda warranties on new and previously sold Mazda's still under warranty? He said yesI then told him what I had been through and he said he didn't have a clue why I was told things like that from different employees but he would talk to his manager and get back to meWellI couldn't wait any longer so I was able to get assistant manager Robert Bhe told me they no longer would honor warranty repairs or the free oil changes that I was promised when I bought the carHe could not explain why I received different answers from three of his employeesHe got real defensive and rude and told me it was "not my business if or how I inform my employees about warranty repairsIts my decision"!! I then told him that it was very unprofessional for his workers to not have correct information for the customerhe was very rude and unprofessional to meThe reason I bought a car from them was the convenience for warranty repairs and promised free oil changesBoy was I dupedIn my opinion, Stivers should have sent notices to previous buyers that they will not do Warranty repairs there on a certain date ahead of time They are still selling Mazda'sAre they allowing customers to think they can still get warranty repairs there?? I would not even want the free oil changes that was promised when the car was bought then taken away because they are deciding not to sell Mazdas anymoreI would not trust them to do it right!! I don't think I could believe anyone thereThey have really bad business practicesI would never trust them againI have been lied to and or employees don't get the management memo, or they are trained in deceptionWhat else can I think? I don't get a straight answer from them it seemsI would not recommend Stivers FordBuyer beware for sure

I just want to say that I had a bad experience with this dealership that I'm very disappointed inI was told that I was already approved for a loan for up to $25,and just needed to bring in a current check stub and copy of my idI did bring that information in however found I needed a co signerI then mentioned that I did not have one but had money to put downI gave the amount that I can put down and simply wanted to find a vehicle within that price range to determine what I would be looking at as far as my monthly paymentsThe salesman said he could not do anything until I had the money on hand because the car may be sold by the time I came back which I fully understoodI only wanted an ideal based on the amount I mentioned for my down payment because I had to travel from out of timeI was even willing to put down more with my down payment but after this experience I have been turned off and will take my business elsewhereThe salesperson I dealt with was Mark S*** and I plan to let as many people as I can know about the way that I was treated when I was under the assumption that everything was already approved and caused me to waste my time and gas by not even being given an ideal of how everything may work out

Don't give them your social security number unless you want it ran 10 times . I told them I didn't want them to run my credit. They assured me it would be a soft credit report. I got 10 letters from banks and credit unions. I will never trust them again.
When I ask they said I need to talk to there lawyer!
