Review: On 2/25/13 I took my Singer Serger sewing machine in for service. The machine had all of its parts including the pressure foot. While there were no problems with the machine I wanted to take a Basic serger Sewing course and wanted to make sure it was in great condition. I called 3/4/13 and was told the machine was not ready. An opening in the class allowed me to start the Serger class on 4/2/13 when I explained to the woman on the phone that I did not have my Serger she stated that I could use a loner since they were working on my machine. The Stitchers' Dream website states "a classroom machine can be made available upon request". Arriving at the class the instructor said if I did not have my own machine I could not use her machine which I had not asked or expected to use. When I explained they had my machine she went and checked. Coming back she stated they had tried to call me on Saturday 3/31/13. I was with people all day Saturday and the number is my cell phone plus they did not leave a message so no they did not call me. She further stated that I did not have a pressure foot on my machine so they could not run the mahcine. There was a pressure foot on the machine since it was both working and in good shape. One thing I had asked for was that they change the blade but all parts of the machine was there. When I brought the machine in the woman who received it looked at it and since she was a professional she would have noticed that the foot was missing which it was not. The end of this is I took the Serger home without the pressure foot that was included in the originial delivery.Desired Settlement: I would like my pressure foot returned to me. If they are not going to allow customers to use a replacement machine the web site needs to be updated to reflect this policy.
