Review: The contractor was to clean and seal my driveway. Work was to be done neatly, and the area left clean.The driveway was not properly prepared. Sealer was applied in a thin coat over mulch, leaves and dirt. Where dirt was left, the sealer immediately pealed. The coat is so thin, the cracks reappeared promptly. In addition to not cleaning the driveway before application, the sidewalk and other concrete adjacent to the driveway are marked with sealer, and the emergency gas cap was sealed over. Multiple contacts to and conversations with the owner have not been of help. Mr. [redacted] has never returned a phone call to me since my complaint. When I have reached him by phone and an appointment was scheduled, it meant nothing. His word means nothing. He has not kept an appointment nor has he called to cancel one. He just does not show up.The poor work, the lack of customer service, and the overall lack of professionalism of the owner are reasons to avoid using Singer Asphalt.Desired Settlement: The work of the company is so bad, that I do not want anyone from the business to bring sealer near to my home. As I told the owner, I want my property cleaned. The sealer is to be removed from the concrete and the gas cap, and given my lack of trust in the quality of work, the cleanup must be done by appointment so that I can be present. If the spaces cannot be cleaned, the repair/replacement of the concrete & gas cap will be another matter of the company's responsibly.
