Review: I entered into a contract with this company to act as the decorators for my apartment two years ago. During this time, I worked with the decorators to choose furniture, fabrics and to refinish certain existing furniture. One year ago I started paying for fabrics for the furniture, manufacturing costs and the decorators' fees, which were based on a percentage of cost of the items I purchased. I paid for 6 fabrics that were supposed to be made into drapes, cushions and wall covering, and to reupholster 8 chairs. To date, none of the work done to refinish existing furniture has been commenced and none of the fabrics that were purchased for the 8 chairs, cushions and drapes have been received in raw material or finished form. I have tried repeatedly to get a status report on the outstanding items but have not received any information. This has been going on for at least 8 months. Therefore, all I have is cashed checks and none of the work or furniture items described above that I paid for. I therefore demanded an accounting of these items to terminate the contract and for all fabrics to be delivered to me. I was promised by [redacted] that I would have this by Friday, April **. Since the promised date I have received nothing, including no response to my follow email asking when I would have this.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the fees that I paid, along with the costs of the items that have not been completed or delivered to me.
