We sincerely apologize you had a bad experience with our customer service representative. From your date of purchase records, I can see that you are in month 7, or otherwise regarded as the "2nd" month interval of the black berkery warranty period, and
thus responsible for 25% of the replacement cost of this filter With that being said, we take high pride in our customer service experience and would like to offer this replacement free of charge. If you can provide us your shipping information, I will have a new filter sent to you along with pre-paid postage to send back the original filter.Again, my apologies.Thanks*** - Owner
