Ibought a townhouse in the Blue Wing HOA in Sonoma, which is managed by *** Property Servies.
Upon completion of the purchase, I was never contacted by the management company concerning payment process, etc. It seems they just sent a package with the owners new to my address in SF and never followed up with anyone to inform them of how to engage with them. After a few months of wondering I secured the contact info for the mgmt company from a letter that was delivered incorrectly to my neighbor. I contacted them immediately and inquired how the process worked. I was told that I was moving towards collections. Not wanting that, I sent them a check for more than amount owed, which they returned to me with a letter asking for a blank check in which they could build automatic payments from my bank account. I returned the blank check and letter promptly, thinking every thing was fine now that we had built the necessary process for payment. However, after reviewing my bank statement after the holidays I reached out to *** and *** for confirmation and they never returned my email or attempted to contact me. Two weeks later I get a certified letter stating that my house is in a potential lien situation due to lack of payment.
