Steve's Auto Center of Conway, Inc.

I would advise Not using Steve's Auto of Conway. They "repaired" our truck after a wreck and handed it over to us with a bent upper control arm and damaged wheel bearings. I took the vehicle back 4 times over 6 months and I had to point out the bent control arm. I kept telling them that the bearings were damaged, too, but they said they put a stethoscope on them and said they were good. I got fed up with them and took the truck to get a second opinion. Within one hour, the second opinion mechanic I used said the bearings were damaged. I listened to the bearings Without a stethoscope and you could hear them grinding. It's pretty bad when a Non-mechanic is telling a supposed "mechanic" for 6 months that the bearings are bad, but Steve's Auto says they weren't... Pathetic!

I recently took my vehicle in to have some work done. I was very pleased with the estimate. It was very reasonable. The work was completed in the time frame they had promised me. They did a great job. They treated me with respect and kindness. I would highly recommend Steve's Auto on Hwy 64 to everyone.

Well, after 6+ months of Steve's Auto not being able to fix (or saying they couldn't fix) my wife's vehicle; I now know why they wanted it out of their shop so quickly... They damaged the right rear bumper of our vehicle and did not tell us! The mechanic that fixed our vehicle noticed the damage when it was dropped off at his shop, and Steve's Auto did not notify us of the damage they did and returned our vehicle to us. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone... We will be filing a police report...
