Honda Civic Sedan. During their time at Stevens Point Honda, Mr. [redacted] and his wife test drove several vehicles and picked the one they wanted to purchase. They voluntarily completed their financing paperwork in a reasonable amount of time. This is considering that their credit score what not at the top of the scale and required a little extra effort by the dealership to gain approval. The total purchase price was $22,685.54, which included $1,173.59 taxes to bring it to a point not far above the $20,000 target price they were looking for.Unfortunately, a motor vehicle purchase cannot be unwound and the vehicle returned to the dealership as is common in other retail purchases. Returning clothing to Target and getting a refund is quite simple, but it does not require financing approval, DMV titling and licensing. Once the DMV process was completed, the title was in possession of Suntrust Bank and the 2016 Honda Civic is now a used vehicle. The [redacted]'s have bought motor vehicles in the past and they understand that their request is unrealistic and not possible at this time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.Regards,[redacted]

Review: Dealer sold me a 2014 Ram 1500 truck. My wife and I went in and signed the contract and took delivery of the truck. When it came time to make the first payment we had not received anything from the bank, so I called the bank. The bank stated they had no record of my account or the truck, and recommended I contact the dealer. This was about a month and half after I had "purchased" the truck. They said the bank had some issues with the contract and that I had to resign a new contract. I contacted the bank again to see what my options were, and they told me I could if I wanted just return the truck or sign a new contract. My wife and I went to the dealer to see what they had to offer. After a couple hours we came up with acceptable new terms for contract as well as they agreed to install some accessories free of charge. That is not the complaint. The complaint I have is after we signed the second contact with a much lower interest rate and lower purchase price my wife and I thought we were all set to move on. About a week and a half later we received a bill in the mail from the bank for $87 more a month than we had agreed. I figured it was just an over sight and that I would just visit the dealer that weekend when I had time. About 2 days after we received the bill we received a copy of the "contract" the bank had received from the dealer. The contract was not the one my wife and I signed. The purchase price was higher, the interest rate was a lot higher, and the length of loan had changed as well. My wife and I compared the signatures and they did not match ours (we had not seen or signed this contract). I contacted local law enforcement and they started the investigation process. When the investigator confronted the dealer, they stated they accidently submitted the first contract, and they would take care of it. The investigator knew they were not telling the truth as the contract they submitted was not the original contract. They are still being investigated by PDDesired Settlement: I want to return the truck, loan paid in full, and owe nothing to anyone, as well as the finance manager and the GM of the dealership loose their jobs and be changed with fraud. I would also like to see some compensation for time lost from work, credit lowering (by many hard hits to my credit applying for credit that I did not consent to) As well as the added undo stress to my pregnant wife. Attorney fees will also need to be paid by the dealer.
Review: I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. The salesman [redacted] stated that if the vehicle were to have any issues, they would service it. The CD player was jammed and would not function, so I complained and they promised to replace the unit. A couple weeks later, the salesperson went back on his word and claimed that they don't inspect radios and that I would be responsible for replacing the radio at a cost of $400. After showing I was upset with the issue, he then said they would in fact order the CD player at the expense of the dealer and assured me that things would be taken care of. Weeks passed and the salesman still had not called about the CD player coming in. I then went back to the dealer and they gave me a signed statement saying that they owed me a new radio and they would install it as well.Desired Settlement: I would like this dealership to replace the defective CD unit with a new one as promised.

Response:
I just thought I'd inform you that Stevens Point Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram have contacted me and installed a new factory radio in my vehicle as was originally promised. This issue has now been resolved and I'm satisfied with the outcome.
Review: We went in to look at a Honda on Saturday, March 12th. We were there approximately 5 hours. When we found a car we liked and then waited for finance, he finally came and got us. The price we negotiated with was a totally different price when he went to have us sign papers. It was over 20 more then we were told it would be. We had to hear how many favors he had to get us to get this deal done. He was very push and almost rude. We felt we were pushed to get into this. He told us NO other dealership in anytown could get us in a car loan because this was a second car purchase and our debt to net was not in line. He also kept reminding us of the favors he had to do to get this done. He rushed us through EVERYTHING signing and all. After we were able to drive it over the weekend we realixe dthe Honda Civic sits way too low to the ground for both of us. My wife has had knee problems in the past and has had surgery. She was hurting come monday morning from how low the car was. We called right away first thing Monday morning and let them know. In a few words they would try but nothing much he could promise. We talked to another dealership to see our options and they said take it back and have them fix the deal thatis what we would do. So we went over Wed night and they had us drive a few vehicles. We liked both and told them either would work. They acted very funny. He said he would give it to the finance manager. Come today we waited and finally at noon I called and he said he would try but he can't guarantee anything. We feel they are not handling this with good customer service. We brought this to their attention immediatly and they rushed us into this deal on saturday and then seem put off when we asked for help. We aren't trying to be difficult but my wife can not afford to have knee surgery and be off work all beause of a car, that is her car. We would appreciate any help you can give us.Desired Settlement: We either want the deal to be undone with nothing out of our pockets and we can walk away or to be able to find us a vehicle that has low miles under 30K and that sits up higher then the civic with the payment staying right around what we have.
