We did do the repairs of his windowWe had to remove the window because all of the framing was rottenIn order to repair the framing the window had to come outWhen we opened the drywall up we could see that the water was leaking down from the roofWe showed this to the customer prior to making
any repairsHe told us that he had another contractor to do that work and that it was fixedWe knew the water was coming from the roof because the framing above the window was rotted as wellOnce we showed them the problem the customer told us to proceed because he assured us the work was being doneAt that point we told him that the warranty would not cover anything if the roof leak damaged our workThis was told to the consumer in a response to their email to our businessWe received no further contact after that
