To Whom It May Concern:Please be advised that the complainant co-signed for the defendant on a $50,bail bondShe paid only $of the contracted $5,premium on 8/21/13.She made only one subsequent payment of$on 9/10/We filed the signed trust deed by the complainant on 12/15/All forms signed by the complainant are state regulated and required. To date the complainant has avoided all attempts to collect the state regulated premium balance and still yet we have done nothing to affect her credit with either a collection agency or foreclosure company. There is simply a lien against her property until the debt is paid as agreedIt is absurd for this complainant to have any response other than appreciation that no adverse action has been taken against her so farI have never foreclosed on anyone in over yearsa record that I'm very proud of.Sincerely[redacted] ***

Steven Mehr Bail bonds tried to get us for 10k. We showed up the the courthouse on the date the bondsman gave us and low and behold.... We didn't even need to be there. Thank god we didn't pay them everything and contacted an attorney.
No bond was set, no charges were filed, not court date was EVER set. They Bondsman made up information to get a higher bond amount from us and I guess he was hoping charges were going to be filed and we would actually have to go to court. Sorry to disappoint.
The courthouse was SHOCKED to hear what they did recommended a few names of attorney's to call for legal advice. TWO different attorneys told us to file a complaint with the California Department of Insurance and we had the right to sue them for the money paid. They advised that the bail bonds are known for scare tactics and would not pay the money back on their own and would make several attempts to collect. The courthouse clerk said we were smart for asking questions and making sure we had answers because most people don't and keep paying.
Thank you Joe J, my conversation with you today was telling. You started the conversation off with me by telling me you were about to sue me. Hello to you to. NO I will not be paying the bond, NO I will not be sued, NO I will not go to jail. NO my credit will not be effected (thanks to my attorney, and the ability to dispute with the credit agencies if its attempted) YES I will be filing the complaint with the Department of Insurance, YES I will be following up with my attorney. You said I was immature.... You hung up on me.
P.S. If someone threatens me, I do my homework. I have back up form the police station, and the courthouse. I'm on the right side of this one. I have all the letters you have send me and my friend, not one of them is consistent. Last but certainly not least, The "collection service" has the same number as the Bail Bonds office except the extension is different. Anyone who works in a corporate office would notice that.... It makes you look a little.....not credible.
In case you needed to do some homework of your own, let me point you in this direction:
CIVIL CODE
SECTION 1788.10-1788.18
Best regards.

I had a very good experience with this company. The staff was very helpful, especially [redacted]. After talking to a few more other bail bond offices this office was a lot cheaper. They seemed to care enough to work out something because of my financial circumstances and I just can't thank them enough. Because of their great help I was able to get my husband out of jail and I would truly recommend them to anyone who needs a bail bond. What I also like is that they work with different states. My husband was arrested in Nevada and I lived in California. And they were able to help me just fine. So again very happy with their service.

Review: the company fabricated documernts and is trying to change the deed on my home and put it under their nameDesired Settlement: withdraw their filing with the state recorder and leave my home and family out of their unfair business ethics
