Review: Ordered progressive lens eyeglasses. I inquired before placing my order whether [redacted] was able to correactly fill a progressive lens prescription. They assured me it was no problem. I ordered 3 pairs of glasses at a cost of $357. My order was placed just before the store's closing time. I called up the next morning to request that they only make 1 pair at this time to make sure they would be correctly filled. When I picked up the glasses 2 days later and tried them on, the eyeglasses had not been properly made. It was impossible to see properly through them. The "reading" section of the glasses was completely made completely wrong. This made me feel very nauseous. My opthamologist then prescribed a weaker prescription thinking that maybe [redacted] would have an easier time filling it. When the 2nd presciption was filled, it was also no good, the same story.When I complained to the optometrist, he said I should pay more money for thinner lenses which would solve the problem. At that point, when I realized he didn't know what he was doing, I asked for a refund. The glasses are in the store. He said he would speak to his boss to see what could be done. He said I should call him. When I did, he would never pick up the phone. The store posts a sign "no refund and no exhange". However, one must receive the product they have ordered. Am I supposed to settle for not having my order filled properly? How can that be?Desired Settlement: Would like refund of $357 for product I cannot use.
