I response to your letter, I'm not sure what he is complaining about when he brought in the parts and we agreed to do it for a set price. Then he said he had his own parts. I told him like the sign says on our wall right in front of him when he enters the office that if he provides the
parts our labor rates go from $to $per hr. You can check the time and both *** and *** allows a total of hrsto do this job. And, on top of that this truck is a rust bucket that would never come close to passing any inspection in this state. Holes and rust everywhere! If you check you will see this is the first person in my years in business that complained!! That's not how I run my business and if you check out any of my reviews, you will find I probably have the best reviews in Carlisle!! I told him it would need aligned after having the ball joints pulled apart to be able to install the shafts. He says in his letter 2-hrstops! If he is a mechanic why did he have me do it if he could do it in hrs.??? And, we do this every day and just because we can do a hrjob in that's to our advantage due to our tools available that makes the job easier. I did exactly what I agreed to do!! And he said he would have it aligned and for me to let it be. Hope this helps on your decision but, I don't see where we treated this customer unfairly!! That's not why I've been in business for yrs. With great word of mouth and reviews!!!I will send you a copy of the sign on my wall!!!

I’m not going to keep going back-and-forth and on and on with this gentleman when we did exactly what we were supposed to doThe bottom line is he knew from the start exactly how much the bill was and how much the time was but, he still keeps saying that he didn’t know anything until we put the truck down off the lift. He says it took us 1/hours but in his letter he said that he gave my mechanic the parts at 8:So we would not of started his truck till about 8:He said we backed it out at 11:That’s not and a half hoursThat’s three hours! And like I said before if you check any of the major time guide labor providers you will see that the labor time allotted is to hours. And he said about if he could’ve found the tools he would’ve fixed it himselfI highly doubt that being as rusted as it was, we had a hard time getting it apart due to the rust. And to respond to the rust remark he said he had pictures of, it’s not the outside, it’s the underneathIt does not look too bad from the outside. And for his remark on ***’s garage in Shippensburg, it is not miles away it’s miles awayI called them for their labor rate and they told me $per hourNot 55? And I don’t understand if he was so worried about the price, then why didn’t he call around and price check to take it to somewhere cheaper? As for the sign I did send a copy of it but I will send a pic of the wall if that will make him happy??? All the disclaimer signs you need now days are right in front of you as you come thru the front door. And in final closing, he did not bother to tell you that he was on my lot after hours on 10/03/@ 6:PM. I have video if you want? Which then becomes a private lotNot a public lot when it’s after hrs! He stood there and took pictures of the front of my garage and the back of my company truck? I’m assuming he wanted the license #? I’m kind of curious what all that has to do with doing a service for a customer unless he plans on doing something with the information at a later date?I’ve already contacted my lawyer about trespassing and sent him the video and all these letters in case something were to happen at the shop??Hope this will help on your decision.Steve’s Repairs Unlimited, Inc.Also, please see attached photo
