This letter is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** concerning the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
I empathize with Ms***, however there are no warranties we, as a dealership supply without additional cost to the customer. These warranties are called service
contracts. After reviewing the entire sales folder, speaking with the staff, including the salesmen, there was never any promise of any type of service contract on said vehicle at any time. As a used car and truck dealership, we have service contracts available for purchase which Ms*** declined due to financing through their own source. All vehicles are sold As Is and that includes this sale
In the customer statement that was written to Revdex.com, Ms*** states there were rocks in the transmission. I do not see that being possible; the transmission is in an enclosed case. If it was not, there would be transmission oil seeping out if it. There would be no way to move it at any time. As the customer stated, they drove it approximately months before there was an issue.
