Dear Mr. Lively, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We strive to make everyone's car buying experience fantastic. We want to reassure you that the truck you bought is not branded or salvaged. In fact, it is factory certified. One of the requirements for a...
factory certification is that the vehicle not be a branded or salvaged title. We would be glad to send you a carfax history report as well. We do apologize for the delay in getting your tag. We have spoken to you on numerous occasions about what happened with it. We did purchase this vehicle from another dealer through an auction. This means that the other dealer filled out most of the reassignment area before we got the title. After you purchased the vehicle, we sent everything to our out-of-state titling service for processing. A couple weeks later they sent it back and stated that the other dealer didn't fill the reassignment out with the correct date. We cannot change or alter what the other dealer had done. Our title clerk sent it back to them to get this fixed. The other dealer was VERY unresponsive, even though our title clerk was calling them daily. We finally received the the title back with the correct dates on it. As of today, we have verified that the state of SC has received everything and they told us we should have the plate by the end of the week. We will call you as soon as it comes in this week. We have been made aware that you will be in the area this weekend, and would like to give you the option to pick it up, or we can over night it to you.
