The facts presented in the complaint filed by [redacted] against me are not totally correct.
Tuesday, April 28,2015. My set up crew and I were at the auction site preparing the items for the...
auction on Wednesday April 29th. Someone (not our crew) had moved the rocking horse outside so we intentionally put the rocking horse in the house before we left the auction site on Tuesday afternoon, The better household items and the rocking horse were to be carried out the morning of the auction and were not outside two days before the auction. [redacted] stayed overnight at the home the night before the auction as well as at least one-day prior. We had no keys to the home,
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. One of Mr. [redacted] children did ask me where the rocking horse was because they were interested in purchasing it at the auction. I asked my crew where they had placed it and they responded that they did not see it the morning of the auction. At that time I went into the house and asked [redacted] where the rocking horse was. My tone of voice was much quieter than her very defensive reply. When she told me she didn't know where the rocking horse was I proceeded to look for the item. I looked in all three bedrooms of the home to make sure my crew had not missed taking the item outside. I left the house and reported to the family that had asked about the horse that all I knew was that the horse was on site on Tuesday when we left and that it was missing on Wednesday and [redacted] said she new nothing about where it was.
We worked hard and diligently to prepare the real estate and personal property for the [redacted] estate auction and went the extra mile to assure the success of the auction, We feel that being accused of being unprofessional and slanderous is highly unwarranted,
