This is regarding the complaint filed 11/6/and assigned an ID of [redacted] Per your request we are responding to preserve goodwill to: [redacted] The statement of problems was not clear on a lot of issues so I will break down what I think Mr [redacted] is explaining The patio door lock was not operating but the door had a security bar and a security pin that secured the door As of 11/5/our Maintenance Supervisor personally called Mr [redacted] informing him the lock was adjusted and the wheels to the patio door were adjusted as well completing the request To our knowledge this issue has been completed The lock out issue occurred not because of the broken lock, but because when Mr [redacted] stepped out onto his patio and he went to slam the door the security bar fell down locking the door This occurrence was not due to a work order issue or the mechanics of a lock As far as the GFI outlet for the bedrooms none of them have them in the master bathroom There is a GFI outlet in the hallway bathroom that controls both bathrooms The only water issues I see is for no hot water on 9/13/and was completed by our maintenance technician on 9/14/ I am showing the second was a leak issue called into emergency maintenance was taken care of within hours and water extracted from the carpet same day If Mr [redacted] would like to transfer we would be willing to do so with no transfer fee costs and he would maintain his same rent for the remaining of the original lease term If anything else is needed please let us know Respectfully, [redacted] Property Manager

This is regarding the complaint filed 12/22/and assigned an ID of [redacted] Per your request we are responding to preserve goodwill to: [redacted] We were very excited to have the [redacted] family apart of our Holiday party In fact we sent them home with leftover food and gave their daughter extra gifts from the gift exchange that were left over When the coat went missing we reviewed the video surveillance showing the daughter holding a black coat walking out the front door She was wearing a pink hoodie and did not attend the party with a black coat An honest mistake would be picking up the wrong coat and leaving a different one behind Once we discovered who took the coat a voicemail was left stating the following: “This message is for [redacted] Harold this is Kelli calling from Sterling Place During the holiday party yesterday it was discovered my coat had went missing After reviewing the video surveillance it was discovered that your daughter had walked out with my coat I am not sure if it was an accident or exactly what happened but please make sure it is returned to the office no later than 6pm today, which is close of business Failure to do so will result in charges pressed and a possible eviction will follow for being in violation of your lease for theft Should you have any questions please contact me at ###-###-####.” The call was made at 11:22am on 12/23/and the coat was returned by 11:36am on 12/23/ When they returned the coat they proceeded to cuss out my staff I can understand if it was a mistake there would be apologies made not aggressiveness and being on the defense If it were truly an accident apologies would be in order and the coat would have been dropped off much sooner than 11:36am the next day However, the coat has been returned at this time As far as rental payments since they are due on the 1st of every month and we are closed we advised residents to drop rental payments off ahead of time We specified that any post dated checks we would not cash until the date listed on the check They also have 24/access to make rent payments online if they do not wish to drop off a check The [redacted] have expressed how they feel the rent here is too high and that they can find other places for much cheaper Since they most likely will not renew we wish them the best in their future housing needsAt this time we feel as if we have resolved the issue If you have any questions please let me knowRespectfully, Kelli K [redacted] Property Manager

one I still have not heard back from the corporate or the local management to discuss this I do not feel they are taking it seriouslyI am still having slow service Finally, I am trying to avoid moving all togetherIf I was going to move it would not be in the same apartment complexThis takes time and moneyI don't feel that the management has given any incentive to settle this issue Other tenants they have had that have been moved they at least reduced rent, etcBut in my case this isn't even being considered

*** ** *** We do feel we have fulfilled the complaint. We hope the *** family enjoyed the holiday party and everything they were given during the event. We had stated in the voicemail left for *** *** (the father) that we weren’t sure if it was an accident but as long as the coat was returned no action would be takenSince the coat was returned no action was taken. Both *** *** and *** *** have been very defensive regarding the taking of the coat. Every time they visited the office to address the issue due to the tone of the voice and comments made they were asked to leave the office. We can provide written statements from staff and residents who witnessed the behavior. Generally when mistakes happen apologies are made. Once again for rental payments since they are due on the 1st of every month and we are closed we advised residents to drop rental payments off ahead of time. We specified that any post dated checks we would not cash until the date listed on the check. They also have 24/access to make rent payments online if they do not wish to drop off a check. This is regarding the complaint filed 11/28/and assigned an ID of ***Per your request we are responding to preserve goodwill to: *** *** The tenant did inform the office that the package was stolen. They were advised to report to the police and also contact the
company responsible for delivering the package. Per the lease agreement that the tenant’s signed states the following: We are released from liability or responsibility of lost or damaged packages Furthermore, it is the tenant’s responsibility to request required signatures for any and all packages of value. It is also the tenant’s responsibility if they do not want the package delivered directly to their apartment to advise the company delivering the package to bring to the leasing office We will not be compensating for any lost or damaged packages. They need to contact the company who delivered the package for compensation since they failed to require a signature for a package of value At this time we feel as if we have resolved the issue. first off we didnot not curse at her staff one time second off we have the newsletter advising that payments are required, and can provide that to you, along with pictures and videos of the "bait and switch" crap hole of an apartment we received as well as the "shown apartment" and a transcripts copy of the threatening message she sent to my fiancé She failed to provide me with a contact above her and she kicked me out of her office when I was not doing anything but speaking with her about my dissatisfaction with her threats. I had placed my daughters coat in a gift bag so she wouldn't forget it, she must've grabbed the other coat thinking it was hers and yea, it was an honest mistakewe didn't even know that this coat was in our home and returned it immediately upon notification that my child had it We would have been apologetic if she hadn't threatened us for the third time since living in this horrid trash filled complex

Sterling Place and I have Finally reached an agreement for resolution to this case. They have in the resolution made me sign something advising I will remove all media/reviews of this I had advised that I am not sure that the Revdex.com allows removal of such but advised that I would request it.
