We used to use Sterling as our background check providerWe made a business decision to move to a different provider and because of that Sterling decided that we owed them a "maintenance" per our nonexistent contractWe disputed the fee for months but they literally never talk to you about itWe sent emails and got no response, we called and were given the run-around and told they would reply by email, which was just to send the invoice yet againThere is not mechanism to get your issue resolved because they have trained everyone not to discuss anything with clientsThey transfer you all over the company rather than address your specific issueDo not use this company for background check servicesThey are a very poor organization to do business with

We disputed the fee for 10 months but they literally never talk to you about it. We sent emails and got no response, we called and were given the run-around and told they would reply by email, which was just to send the invoice yet again. There is not mechanism to get your issue resolved because they have trained everyone not to discuss anything with clients. They transfer you all over the company rather than address your specific issue. Do not use this company for background check services. They are a very poor organization to do business with.
