Mr*** walked into Stereo Depot looking for an adapter for his stereo, Which I didnt haveThats when we began to talk about other stereo's options we settled on the pioneer 4000nexI explained to him that the price of the stereo is installed after parts and laborSo then he said that
he didint have enough money for that, So I told him we do have financing available he said cool lets do thatso I pulled up the application online which is a reputable company Synchrony bank, after *** filled out the application and told me it was finished so I flipped the screen around and noticed that his ssn was not filled out so I asked him for his ssn which he told me I typed it in and hit submitMr*** was approved for thats when he began asking for better stereo's that had navigation built in that's when he decided to install the pioneer 8000nex and then the next item was the alarm which was a viper alarmThe total came out to which he agreed and which he took his time to think about it so after explaining the financing details which where months no interest if paid in full he agreedAfter about mins I had the invoice ready took copies of his id and had him sign his application verifing his information which he read and signed so he read his application which had his personal information on it it such as his ssn, monthly income and etcHe looked over the application and signed it next was his invoice which said on it if he didn't want to do the system why would he sign the invoice , or the credit app or the credit slip that stated months no interest if payed in full, Ill tell you why because he knew he wasn't being pressured knew he was getting a good deal and knew I was not taking advantage of himAfter an hour in we finished his truck and that's when he started saying my mom said I cant have it shes mad at me and IU told him that we already finished the job so to make him mom happy I threw in a back up camera which he accepted that's when the police showed up and try ed to levitate the situation and they saw that I did nothing wrong and asked them to leave, that's when I went out and spoke to his mom and explained the situation to her she said shes mad at her son and he shouldn't be making decisions on his own I told her your son bought the unit from me without pressure and explained to her how he mentioned his mom is mad and that he would handle it, then she was mad at him and told me she would talk to him and she drove away I even offered her something free for her car she refused I believe I handeled the situation in a very professional manner thank You so much for reading this todayStereo Depot Management

Hello, the customer is having an issue with the finance company this has nothing to do with us she had the contracts infront of her before she signed and she recieved an email with the contract explaining the paments and her down payment she made I have attempted to message the customer and even
called she fails to respond.Thank you, *** ***

Review: This shop has offered me a service to install HID lights. They have damaged my headlights, wiring and this caused me paying for car fix after. After I have came back to the shop asking to fix it or refund me what I paid money for service. This shop has attempted to make fix end up braking my headlight projector that costed me money to replace. After calling in and asked for refund store manager suggested me to sale my parts online this way I can make up for expense. This shop is very unprofessional and not licensed to take cars a parts. Their "Techs" not licensed to perform such job.Desired Settlement: I need them to refund me what I paid to them $300.

I remember this customer well, he brought in his BMW to install some lighting accessories he purchased on his own, at our business we close at 7.00 pm and the customer asked if we could finish it tonight, I told him that since you live an hour away no problem, so we stayed until 9:30 2 hours and half over closing time to finish the job. So at the end the stuff he purchased didn't work so we charged him labor the parts were his, So hes asking for full money back when all I sold him was labor, Its not fair, We shouldn't have to bend our backs and then give money back for something that wasn't our fault, and the matter of the projector lights there's no way we broke them we work on cars all day long, we know how to handle items, we don't need to hide or lie to a customer. So in our side we feel we should not give the customer his money back, and on top of it this is the first time I'm hearing of this problem the customer never contacted us about non of this, So he's probably just trying to make some extra money please do not rule in his favor thank you so much for your time you may call me 7 days a week [redacted] to further discuss this matter [redacted] Owner and operator.

Review: I purchased a car audio amplifier from this business. At the time of purchase all I was given was the receipt from the credit card machine after my card was charged for the purchase. At NO TIME was I informed that there is a no refund policy, there are no signs in the store, nothing posted near the register or at the counter and I was never given anything in writing. At the time that my Uncle went to install the amp it was discovered that the unit was defective, it was a 4 channel amplifier and the first 2 channels would not work. A new amplifier was purchased from a different store so they could complete the install and we planned to return the defective amp. When we went to the location we purchased the Amp from they informed us that they had a No Return policy and it was printed at the bottom of the computer generated receipt we were given. I informed the guy that I was never given that receipt, never seen anything like it and since it appears by the reprint I would have had to sign the receipt for their records could he provide me with my signed copy. He pulled out a large stack and looked through it, there was no receipt with my order number in the stack, he could not provide with me any proof at all I had been informed of the policy yet still refused to refund my money. He asked me how he got my name in his computer if I had never been given a receipt and hadn't given his employee my information. I told him that the employee must have taken my name and name only which all the information he had off the bottom of my signed credit card receipt where it was printed. He offered me a store credit which does me no good, I don't need the credit I have my audio system installed now. The manager of this location needs to put signs up stating their policy CLEARLY when you walk in. Had I've known that I wouldn't be able to get my money back on a defective unit I never would have shopped or purchased anything from that store.Desired Settlement: I believe the employee owes me an apology for the way he treated the situation. I have already contacted my bank for a refund of the money since the unit was defective. I think that the Management in the store needs to reprimand his employees for not properly sticking to procedure since he had no receipt signed by me and he never informed of their "policy." They also need to place signs around the store clearly stating their policy to their patrons from the very moment you walk in the store!

HERE AT STEREO DEPOT EVERY CUSTOMER RECEIVES A RECEIPT THAT THE CUSTOMER SIGNS BEFORE THEY LEAVE, AND AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH RECEIPT OUR POLICY IS IN BIG BOLD BLACK LETTERS STATING NO REFUNDS NO RETURNS. THEN THE CUSTOMER SIGNS, THE CUSTOMER MUST HAVE NOT INSTALLED IT RIGHT, BECAUSE WE BENCHED TESTED THE AMP AND ALL THE CHANNELS CHECKED OUT. I THE MANAGER WAS VERY NICE AND COURTEOUS TO THE CUSTOMER, MISS KRAMER WAS YELLING AND CUSSING AT ME AND RIPPED THE RECEIPT OUT OF MY HAND AND GAVE ME A PAPER CUT AND STILL I SAID NOTHING AND ALLOWED THE CUSTOMER TO LEAVE THE STORE WITH OUT VERBAL ALTERCATIONS. I OFFERED THE CUSTOMER ANOTHER BRAND NEW AMP, OR FULL CREDIT, OR A BETTER AMP FOR THE SAME PRICE, BUT THE CUSTOMER REFUSED. PLEASE IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE TINA WANTS SHE IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO TALK TO ME PERSONALLY AND I WILL GET A HER A BETTER PRODUCT FOR THE SAME AMOUNT THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Review: My 01 Silverado was service by stereo depot. I bought JVC deck Woofers & box the HID were added free. My Fosgate amps & wiring were already installed. I brought two additional amps just in case. I was told they would go through everything to see if everything was correct. I was told the Fosgates I ALREADY HAD INSTALLED were best fit. Stereo Depot decide they should take my amps out & reinstall them a different way. I don't no why I did not tell them to move amps they said they were ok. There are 8 new holes added to my cab not sealed, The new position of amps made seat belt bracket rub large scars in amp. The other amp they bypass the capacitor & fuse ran wire directly to the amp with no fuse the ground wire was screwed into floorboard which was loose & still is loose. Not a proper ground for amp. My HID have went out two times. My Deck had to be reinstalled BY OWNER along with a set of better HIDs witch I was told I already had the best HIDs. My battery hold down screw was missing, the the little body brace that went across the battery one of the bolts missing, Few months later my woofers & amp stopped working I took it back to stereo depot 1st I was told they didn't install amps until I found receipt. They then reinstalled everything I was told the speakers blew out I thought it was the amp. A few days after buying I told them 300watt Phoenix was enough wattage they insisted they were even though the amp bridged 800watt. My Phoenix Gold Woofers are warranteed has good sound but putting the same speakers dont make sence. Paying more for speakers that depot should've sold me the 1st time. After all of this I thought they would cover the difference but no they would not. Besides there prices are to high compared to every other shop & store I looked up. They advertise free installation for items purchase from store unless custom (not free) I hooked up my box to see if the amp works. doesn't work, battery goes dead, my headlights don't work. I believe the under panel is missing & I probably an extra 15 to 20 new holes in cabin. Stereo depot hasn't budge. at all.Desired Settlement: Replace two damaged Amps equal value, Replace both woofers & woofer box . Box not custom as per invoice woofers are inferior to the amount of watts coming from amps. head lights working with warrantee, all bolt, screws, brackets, braces & panels back in proper position & battery not drawing power causing battery to go dead. If more than eight holes I want holes filled properly or complete refund with replace amps or equal value, head lights working & refund for advertise free installation

We Give free install on stereos only and its very clear on our advertising and our website so if we install speakers amplifiers sub-woofer will be an extra charge. [redacted] brought a car to install his own amplifier and sub-woofers we only charge to install and sold Jvc stereo and free HID light. if we had to reinstall his amplifier in a different position im very sure its a must since we install new amplifier with new measurement, Also customer agreed to that. Well after Nine Months if the free HID lights are not working we will be more than happy to exchange them or put the factory lights back on. Box is custom for this vehicle since box special fit for make model and year for customer vehicle. for the damage on his amplifier cant be replace since customer agreed to place the amplifiers where they at now. and for the new holes I will be more than happy to seal them!My name is Allen the general store manager of Stereo Depot and Customer service is my number one goal, so please come down and let me take a look at the vehicle be more than happy to go thru the entire thing and fix it all. thank you

There was no reason to move my Amps or change my wires, I had Audio Heaven install my system about 8yrs ago. I HAD NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM WITH ANYTHING ON THE COMPLETE SYSTEM

STEREO SYSTEM. Thats six Infiniti speakers, two Fosgate Amps, Dyno matt , Compassidor Regular 12in fitted Sub woofer box for Chevy Extended cabs & two 500w Infinity Woofers with a pioneer deck.

4yrs ago My infiniti 12in woofers with the box & pioneer deck was stolen. There was no damage just removed woofer box & woofers removed dash plate clip & unplug CD unit. Because of gas prices I stop driving my truick. last yr I started using my truck again along with adding a new Deck, woofer box & woofers. WOOFER BOX WOOFERS & DECK. EVERYTHING ELSE ALREADY INSTALLED. Again There was no problem with them. I brought three other amps in with my truck and asked stereo Depot if any of those three amps might be better for the my setup. I was told they would ck amps for best fit. When I returned to the Stereo Depot to pickup truck. I was told the fosgate amps I already have installed were the best fit. When I look at the installation. I noticed the amps were moved & rewired. To me it looks like they move it to gain access to amps without removing seats. Since my install Ive had nothing but problems. Stereo Depot has not offered any solution to my damaged (scratched)Amps. One Amp not working. Bad wire grounds, speakers blowing (Watts to low) & headlights not working.

The HID lights were thrown in free for buying system with woofers.

Review: I went into this business to purchase an adapter for my stereo that wasn't working. I turned 18 years old in October. A guy named [redacted] he was very forceful and high pressure, smooth talking salesman. He lied to me several times on the price of the stereo and all the bells and whistles he was throwing in for free. Next thing you know I was giving him my social security number. He then asked for my drivers license and credit card he made copies of them. He asked how much I made a month I told him I didn't know. I just started working at my first job a week ago and haven't been paid. He continued to fill out paperwork, he then asked me to sign it. It showed 2750.00. I asked him what this was because I thought the stereo I agreed to was about 1,000.00. He said that he had to put that price on the paper or he would get in trouble. Once they started installing the stereo I was feeling uneasy and that I was in a bad situation. I called my mom she told me to tell them to stop installing they refused, then she told me that she wanted to talk to them. Once again they refused to talk to her. She came over to the stereo shop. She was looking over the paperwork and noticed someone put on the credit application that I made 4,355.00 a month. She asked if I told them that I told her no that I told him I just started working at Pizza Hut and I didn't know what I make. My mom spoke with [redacted] and offered to pay for the installation of putting it in and taking it out if they would just let me return it and get out of this credit. Once again he refused. I understand that I am 18 but I have never seen any kind of credit applications or have no idea how I got into such a bad situation. [redacted] completely took advantage of my youth in not understanding what I was doing. My parents and myself have tried to contact the owner [redacted] and are getting the run around of either he is busy,not there or with a customer. This sleezy operation took advantage of me and falsified a credit application.Desired Settlement: That they take back the stereo and cancel the credit account that I can't afford to pay. Also so these people do not take advantage of any other young (adults) kids! My mom was able to get a hold of [redacted] the owner on the day that this happened. He told her he was willing to accept 1,250.00 and could get the credit contract changed to show the new amount of 1,250.00. She told him she would have to talk to my dad and get back with him on their decision. Since then all we have got is a run around.
