winter. He said he was pleased with the work performed and paid in full after completion. Mr. [redacted] then contacted me on 5/22/17 to inform me that some areas on the deck were peeling. He also admitted that he scuffed up the decktop over the winter by dragging the grill around before the paint had cured. I then spoke to Mrs. [redacted] the next day and said that I would return and recoat the decktop at no charge to them and that I would be there in the next week or two. Mr. [redacted] then left me an immediate voicemail that same evening that I felt was aggressive and hostile, informing me of when I WILL be there and that my timeframe was unacceptable and that he did not give a damn about my other jobs. I did not respond to this voicemail, due to its unreasonable nature. In all, I feel A Cut Above Painting has made attempts to rectify the situation even though customer's discontent was not due to a flaw in material or application of material. I admit there were some tentative plans that were not met due to weather and other jobs, but at no time was this customer ignored or put off intentionally. The customer's infuriation that I was unable to schedule his touch-up in a timeframe acceptable to him was unfortunately due to a combination of weather and previous obligations. In 17 years I have never had a complaint and I always address any concerns about work completed. I take pride in and responsibility for my work and will continue to do so. I hope I have the opportunity to return to Mr. [redacted]'s property and retouch the work to his satisfaction.
