The puppy they purchased from me was healthy the day they picked him up.Prior to their picking him up, I advised them that he had a cold that had developed after his first vaccination which is typically normalI held him a little longer for him to recoverThey wanted to pick him up earlier but I
didn't allow thatWhen he recovered I informed them that he was ready to goOne week after they picked him up, they text me stating that he has a cold and was seen by their vetThey had started amoxicillin on the puppy I clearly stated to them to please keep me posted Two weeks later they stated he hasn't gotten better and had started a different antibiotic on the puppy Three weeks later they stated that he had pneumonia and insisted that I cover $for their vet billsI advised them to return the puppy for a full refund as my policy is to return any puppy that is sick for a full refund or to choose another puppyThey refusedThey told me to contact their vet for the records on their puppyI asked for their vet s name and contact person and number They gave me the contact number and I called the vet for the record on their puppyI requested the records on their puppy but was informed that *** *** declined to have that shared with meI had my vet contacted them with no success which leaves me with no current records on the puppyMy main concern is the puppy's healthI contacted them and their response was they ll have an attorney contacts me This remains unresolvedI have never experience this conflict beforeTo this date I am concerned for the puppy's well being . I am rejecting this response because:I’d like to take a moment to evaluate and retort to Mr*** statements to us regarding this complaint. I am enclosing the chat records from my wife’s phone as well as the vet records from Mr*** vet that state the puppy did in fact have pneumonia in March before we picked him up.#1. He states that the dog developed a cold due to his first vaccinations yet the dog still had a runny nose when we picked him up. I know this to be true because he wiped the dogs nose in front of us and said the same.#2. We did not start the dog on amoxicillin. It was clavamox per the vet visit the very next day after we got him. #3. As you can see from the chat records my wife was in constant contact. Its only when we start to uncover the wrongdoing is when Mr *** gets nasty in text and his only remediation is to return the dog. He was fully aware this was a present to our daughter.#4. We agreed that he would pay us the $as restitution for the incurred vet bills. You can clearly see this in the email from May 26th 2017. I have attached this email.#5. We stopped Mr *** from accessing our vet only because he backed out of our written agreement for refunding the $on May 28th. I have enclosed the chat record. Clearly Mr *** feelings were hurt from my email back to him pointing out that the dog did have pneumonia and that we felt he was being dishonest. The dog has become a member of our family and all we ever wanted was for Mr *** to stand by his word and his reputation as a good breeder to refund the $
