Steger Installations

Purchased vinyl plank through a local rug seller, Gainesville FL. They assigned one of their subcontracted crew to install my new flooring. They were to put down plywood to bring Livingroom floor up to height of tile dining and kitchen floors and lay a vinyl plank floor in October 2019. Planks began to buckle and sperate the next day. Called and texted a number of times. No response. Finally received call back after calling *** to threaten him and he returned on Nov 15, 2019 saying they put the wrong thickness of plywood down as store was out of stock the day of installation but they did not think it would matter. Agreed he needed to pull up floor and start again. It appeared to him his work was not level. After that, I called and texted at least 6 times to get him to come back and actually do what he said he would do. He came back Dec 13, 2019. They pulled up floor, put down new plywood and re-installed plank. Next day plank began again to separate. Floor was not level between Livingroom and dining room. I contacted him that evening sending pictures. He sent 2 workers out to glue down a few planks. They said they'd be back if others needed repair. I called and texted a dozen times sending pictures of an additional 12 that have separated since Dec 14, 2019. He has NEVER responded.
