Steel Horse Constructors, LLC is our most favorite contractor in all the land! They took care of our leaky shower by turning it into a little linen/dressing area. They took care of our unused bathtub by pulling it out and turning it into a non-leaky, beautiful shower! They did several other things for us and we highly recommend them! They communicate at every step of the process, worked around our family schedule, and helped us find ways to cut down in areas that kept the project at our budget.
We are so glad that we found Steel Horse Constructors. They have done several jobs for us including our recent complete kitchen gut and rebuild. We had ideas of what we wanted but Jim, Jeremy and all the crew made it happen and exceeded out expectations. They were helpful and worked with us on every detail and we couldn't be happier with our new beautiful kitchen. They took it from old, dark and dingy to new, bright and beautiful. We highly recommend them for any project you need done. Call them! We are already looking forward to working with them on our next project! Thank you Steel Horse!!!
I have used Steel Horse Constructors for several home projects and have been very happy with them and the outcome of each of those projects. At this point, they are like family. Jim and/or Jeremy work with me and are in contact with me throughout the whole process of the project. First they listen to what I would like done, take a look at what is there, and then give me the available options of what they can do to make my desires come to fruition. Within a few days, I'm presented with an itemized project estimate and given any necessary caveat explaining if something is found that they couldn't see that affects the project, it could cost an additional X amount. Having been a home builder, Jim knows what should be behind walls or under flooring...but also knows that isn't always the case and that knowledge allows him to be able to tell you there could be unexpected issues here or there. It's all out in the open and up front before you sign the contract. Next up is purchasing the materials. They take care of ordering, picking up and delivering the supplies, or if you are picky like me on some things, they will go with you to pick up a few items that just have to be that certain color, shape, or design...helping you choose wisely by telling you if what you want will work or not, and guiding you to something else if your choice isn't the best. When it's close to the date of your project, there is a walk-thru to make sure nothing has changed and instructions are clear. I have pets and work a non-traditional shift, so they do their best to work around that. Usually I just give them the keys to my house and go on vacation, knowing they will keep me apprised of their progress thru calls/texts/pictures and I know they will treat my house as if it was theirs security wise. When I have been home and interacting with the workers, I have found them to be knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Everyone comes when they are supposed to or I get a call explaining any changes. Products used are of good quality. At the completion of the project, I am asked how I like it. If there are any little touch-ups to be done, they are done because they want me to be happy with the job. I have been happy with everything they have done for me from a "honey-do" list when I first moved in, to a bathroom remodel, new laminate flooring and stairway carpeting, interior painting, exterior power washing and trim repair and painting, exterior door replacements, wood railing repair, and some cement work. I will definitely use them again....and again.
