Review: My wife and I were being seen by the dentists there for a few months, We spoke to [redacted] before each service to see what was left on our Insurance and what was covered. In October of last year we were getting close to our max for the year, my wife needed additional work done so we asked what our charge for the amount beyond her maximum for the year would be, at which point [redacted] tried to sell us a health [redacted]. We were not interested so she said she would get back to us after checking with [redacted] got back top us with $400.00 we were okay paying that and she went ahead with the work. At the same time I was having some work done and asked the same question about my next round of services and [redacted] said it would all be covered, I did not know when I would be available so I said I would call to schedule my appointment. 3 weeks later my wife received a bill for $800.00 When we called the office [redacted] said it was our responsibility to check with our provider about our coverage, not once under the dentist care up to that point had [redacted] ever said that., She had always told us what the fees would be. When we said we asked because we could have waited until January when our maximum reset to have the work done, she didn't answer us but tried to sign us up for the medical [redacted] again. I contacted [redacted] and my wife had no coverage left prior to her last appointment and I had none left either, after [redacted] told me my next appointment would be covered. One time I can see as a mistake (hers not mine to pay for) but twice would seem to be something more.I told [redacted] I would pay the $400 we agreed to pay she never responded just sent bills. She sent us a threat of legal action so to avoid paying legal fees we paid them. This is nothing less than fraud, we were very clear we would have work done we could afford.Desired Settlement: I want the $400 Back. We agreed to $400.00 not $800.00

Review: I filed a complaint about a billing issue the company did not respond and is now sending bills for new amounts after my initial complaintsDesired Settlement: I want them to stop playing games, its bad enough they stole $400.00 from me and did not respond to the Revdex.com. now they are sending bills to me for an account that is paid in full and my wife was the insured?

Review: my son was seen by steel city not myself however the collection is under my name and social we have the same name but different social security numbersDesired Settlement: this bill taken off my credit report immediately
