[redacted] INSURANCE - I HAVE PAID MONTHLY PREMIUMS SINCE JANUARY AND HAVE YET TO CONTACT A DOCTOR OFFICE WHICH WILL EXCEPT [redacted] INSURANCEON LINE REVIEWS; SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ISSUEWHEN I MADE CONTACT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE SIMPLY ADVISED TO CHECK THE LIST OF DOCTORS ON THE WEBSITEBOTTOM LINE I HAVE INSURANCE I CANT USE, BUT I STILL HAVE TO PAYI HAVE CALLED HALF DOZEN DOCTORS OFFICE FROM THE [redacted] WEBSITE ALL SAY THEY ARE TAKING NEW PATIENTS AND WHEN I CALL - THATS NOT THE CASE
I signed up for [redacted] health insurance in December I paid the January and February premium due in JanuaryI had very bad case of bronchitis in JanuaryI went to a network clinic and got treatment and medicationI came back for a follow up exam Feb 9, which included a Pap Smear and the nurse ordered several other blood testsShe gave me more prescriptions to be filledI was notified at the clinic that [redacted] said my policy was cancelled January 31, I had not received any notification of this actionI called [redacted] several times that day and they confirmed my payments showing and the policy was showing activeThey referred me to the Health Marketplace for the answerI called the Health Marketplace and investigations were set in motionSeveral calls later- they referred me back to [redacted] for an answerMy records will confirm that I made several calls to both [redacted] and Health Marketplace trying to find out why my policy was cancelledWhenever I called these companies they had wrong information about me and I had to correct itSpecifically- they always had the same wrong email address no matter how many times I corrected it [redacted] ’s auto attendant stated that I had the Feb payment due but when I spoke to a live person they said my policy payments were in the system and it was paid up to date [redacted] finally said the policy was cancelled and had no reason whyThen after several weeks of phone calls back and forth, I got a letter in the mail from [redacted] that stated my policy was cancelled because I cancelled it myselfIt referred to other policy numbers in the letterI had never been insured by [redacted] beforeThey also refunded my February premium paymentI called [redacted] about this and did a conference call with the Health Marketplace and told them they had me mixed up with someone elseI told them that I always had to correct the email address and I never had those policies mentioned in the letter from [redacted] After being on the call for almost hours – I got disconnected because I was at work that day Afterward I received a letter from [redacted] stating they were investigating my complaint and would respond to me by the end of April I ever heard from themNow I have a bills from [redacted] totaling $for the services I received February 9, THIS IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR [redacted] should have paid their portion of that billI am willing to re-pay my February premium – but [redacted] should not have done this to meI never got ANY notification that my policy was cancelled January 31, If I had - I would not have kept the follow up appointment without insurance coverage They had my correct address because I got the letter of cancellation several weeks after my complaintsIf I had cancelled my own insurance as they accused me of doing – they would have sent me a letter of confirmation- not a letter of notification [redacted] should pay this bill- even if I have to give them the February premium back
