Steady House Foundation Repair

I sent a request for an estimate online and in a matter of minutes I get a phone call. Talk about AWESOME response time. Phillip was sent out to my property to do measurements and I pointed out the cracks in the house and he assured me they were normal. He was very knowledgable and gave me direct answers. Luckily, no work was needed and I was so pleasantly surprised in his honesty. That kind of work ethic says a lot and I am definitely giving this company a call when I need work done in the future as well as 5 stars for the honestly. Great Job guys!

Phil is awesome. You're likely nervous getting into such a costly repair that has so many uncertainties involved, but with this company, you'll get a friendly, knowledgeable, and straight-talking contractor who will take care of everything and give you a fair price. He stayed in contact, answered all my questions, and his crew was efficient. They even went above and beyond and fixed my door as a bonus because the previous owners had just jury-rigged it to shut with a bad foundation. While I hope to not need their services on this house, I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

They are very good at their job, finished and cleaned up. Did recommend a couple more piers than planned but all for the better. Would use again.

The process was discussed in detail prior to an owner commitment detailing the specific warranties, City procedure, post inspections, scope specific inclusions/exclusions, potential damage due to landscape proximity and other significant concerns regarding interior potential damage. Steady House outlined all issues in detail, then followed up after the construction to discuss and verify our understanding. The crews were aware of the cleanliness required when digging inside, removed all debris and fully cleaned afterwards. The perimeter was neatly arranged around the building and placed as agreed where overages occurred. The regular communication, experience of the crew and general professional approach from the beginning to the post inspection process was handled very well and professionally. My comments are in light of loosing three shrubs, interior drywall cracking in 5 rooms and wall tile cracks at the kitchen. All of these were identified initially so that the expectations were not mis-communicated. This was an overall win-win situation for us. We anticipated the wall conditions and landscape loss, so we could plan accordingly. We received positive Engineering and plumbing post reports, but knew there was a strong possibility the plumbing would need repair. This was a pleasant surprise considering this was our greatest concern. We now have a complete foundation repair that will be transferable in the future as we enjoy the results until then.

Getting work done on your foundation can be a scary proposition, but Phillip and his crew were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. Excellent work and clean up. When I had some settling of the fill dirt they fixed the problem immediately. They also filled any remaining cracks in the bricks. I was lucky to find such a great company!
