The staff and installers were great! I'm happy with the final product and the service was outstanding! I would recommend this company to anyone

Wrongful diagnosis of the problem and therefore incorrect service solution
I hired *** *** from Stay Dry Basement Waterproofing because there was a was leak in one of the small walls in the basement of my office
Mr*** inspected the wall and concluded that the leak was coming from the whole foundation of the basementIn reality, the water was coming from holes in a small portion of the wall and not the foundationHe dug out the basement, but did not fix the leak; instead he rerouted the water coming in, to the sump pump
Such extensive work was not necessaryAll that was needed was fixing the leak from the wall
Mr*** ended up doing unnecessary work which not only extensive but more expensive as well
I stopped him from doing the extra work and asked that he fix the leak; and not charge me for the unnecessary work that he had startedHe claimed that the extra work is needed

Don't ever hire this company1st of all they are so disorganizedThey kept changing the day they suppose to do the jobThey told me they were going to show up on a monday afternoon and they did but then the next day they show up till like 1pm in the afternoon and basically did nothingWednesday came thru and they never show upAnd of course it was Thanksgiving that thursday so they never show up the rest of weekWhat upset me is that they never called me to let me know they were not going to show up on the rest of the weekThey came back on monday and the job was finish till WednesdayThe job was done goodBut their clean up was horribleThey left concrete mix on my porch, and basement stairsThey also broke my latch for my storm door in my porchTheir employees also were opening my fridge and left concrete mix all over the handleMy laminated flooring in my kitchen had footprints of their workers with concrete mixI got hold of their manager and he said to email him the pictures of the problems and I never heard anything backTheir work was good, but their clean up is horribleBeware of this company

Stay Dry is not responding to our complaints/concerns (basement still leaks and their employees took our sump pump)
*** *** (sales rep), arrived hours late to the appointment (to give quote) without any prior notification to us from Stay Dry that he'd be late
We signed the quote with *** on 3/30/and were told Stay Dry was scheduling weeks outIt was close to weeks before we even received a phone call to schedule the pre-install inspection (install scheduled for weeks after inspection)
The work was scheduled for days (5/21-23) and we were told the team should arrive at 9:30/10am every day because they would leave Lansing at 8amThe team showed up late on 5/21/(arrived closer to 10:30am) without any notice to us from Stay Dry that they'd be late and left around 4/4:
On 5/23/the team left at 4:30pm without telling us they were done/not doneAfter checking the basement I immediately called *** telling him the team left without a word

After timely cancellation of the contract, the company withheld a portion of the deposit in violation of the refund clause
I signed a contract on Wednesday, February 8, for installation of a drain system in our basementOver the weekend, I discovered that the cause of the water in our basement was not seepage but a different problem On Monday, February 13th, the third business day after signing the contract, I telephoned the salesman, Wayne N*** and told him that I was cancelling the contract and why He said that that was okay In full compliance with the cancellation clause of the contract, I sent written notification to StayDry by certified mail on February 13,
StayDry responded by letter dated February 14, that they had received the cancellation of the contract and enclosed a check for $ This was a refund of the $deposit less $which StayDry withheld for "administrative costs"
I then sent a letter to StayDry on February 20, informin

Workers did not show up on time, work was shoddy, and cement was improperly mixed
On May 9, Stay Dry workers were to come to my home to install a French drain in my basementFor the next three days, they arrived late, and on days one and three, they were at least an hour late
A trench had to be dug around the entire interior of basement in order to set up the drain and a sump pumpTo do this, the crew had to remove the final three steps of the stairs leading into the basementSome of the vinyl on the steps was gouged by the workersA worker came on the fourth day to re-install the stepsWhen he finished, the stairs no longer fit properly, some molding was missing, and a piece of aluminum edging no longer fit and stuck out at a dangerous angle
The crew was very anxious to leave on the third day, and it showed in three areasFirst, the trench leading from the basement to my back yard for the sump pump was not properly refilled, so much of it was several inches

Crack in foundation was "fixed" by installing $7k sump-pump system My basement is still leaking - the company refuses to inject crack at no cost
June '15, Julius came to house for estimate to fix leaking/flooded finished basementJulius did inspection of basement and outside foundationDetermined interior drain tile and sump pump was the best optionThis was after Julius had inspected and seen a crack in my foundation from the outsideI was assured that this system was the remedyI was told that any water coming in from the outside would run behind the plastic grey material that would stick up from my floor and into the PVC piping that would be buried in my basement floor8/12/15, Perry came to house for the pre-install apptHe inspected basement and outsideAgain, he pointed out the crack in the foundation from the outside and also claimed that this system was the remedy for that issueThey would be cutting away drywall (from the floor and up feet) from all the walls

StayDry was hired in to fix our leaking basement and was paid$The Basement continued to leak and StayDry was again hired and paid an additional $to fix the leak and provide a 10yr transferable warrantyFlooring was replaced at a cost of $The basement continued to leakStayDry was contacted on 3-6-via certified letter requesting that they fix the leak and honor their warrantyAfter waiting the requested days, I was forced to hire another contractor to resolve the problem at a cost of $ Stay Dry was again contacted via certified letter requesting payment for said repairs StayDry has failed to respond to any of my requests
Product_Or_Service: WaterProofing Basement

StayDry charged for a repair that should have been covered under their lifetime guarantee
StayDry was contracted by the sellers of the house we were moving into to repair a crack/leak in the basement of the homeWhen we moved in, it was still leakingWhen we finally got StayDry here to repair, we were told it was a new crack and that we needed to pay another $to fix it
I have pictures that show the new crack coming directly from the oldI've sent emails to the owner, *** ***, and CEO of the companyI finally got a call back from Mr*** *** requesting copies of the picturesHe told me he would get back to me after that weekendIt's now been several weeksI get no response to my emailsMy realtor has tried to resolve this, and she is getting no responsesThat is why I am now contacting you, out of frustrationPlease help

The sump pump dry well is overflowing onto the public sidewalk and Stay Dry refuses to send out someone to look at the problem Warranty years
We hired Stay Dry Waterproofing to waterproof our basement at the end of June The company passed inspection with the township of Canton after failing inspection once prior Our dry well is feet deep and deposits out to the front of our yard Now, our dry well overflows with every pump of our sump and overflows onto the public sidewalk We have tried to contact Stay Dry for the past weeks to have someone come out to look at the problem, but are refused every time saying that the Township of Canton passed the inspection, so that it is no longer their problem They say that it is the township of Canton's issue, not theirs despite their year warranty on their product for outside well systems They are not honoring their warranty (which is also clearly stated on their website.) We have now been contacted by the Canton Townsh

I had this company do waterproofing in my basement; A crew of very young people showed upThe work was 6,The cement work over the perimeter trench ended up being too thin and not good workmanshipIt was hard to tell at the time until the cement curedThey sent a fellow down to attempt to make the work look betterHe used portland cement which cracked all along the original workThey won't do anything to make the thickness of the cement adequate, so that I may finish the floorIn other words, they don't stand behind their workI also used the on another project for 8,and their attitude is go pound sandGet a reputable company, not these people

Their system works. I was impressed with professionalism on all levels--salespeople, workers, supervisors, trouble shooters, and the owner.

Most importantly, my basement is dry. Their experts know what they are doing.
