This complaint regards a rental issue: *** and *** is a retail Liquor Store and not in the rental businessOne of the owners is involved the entity identified
in
this case is Doty Street Investments ,LLC., which has different ownership
Our knowledge of this issue is thet the party issuing the complaint signed a lease,then wanted out of itA mutual release was discussed in exchange for the
deposit, and she was released without further obligationAfter the fact, she has filed a complaintThis is the first that any of the parties on this end are aware
there is any issue about how the lease termination was resolvedThe truth of the matter is that while mitigation steps were taken, the (prospective) tenant also has
responsibilities regarding this, and it is not appropriate to simple "cancel" a lease obligation and to expect a deposit returnedThere is a strong potential for Doty
Street Investments to go after that costs of advertising, re renting, and lost rent
