Thank you for the wonderful review. We wish we could get more customers to write a review on the Revdex.com.
Statewide Energy Solutions replaced damaged windows and old windows in my home.
8 windows in total, various sizes. Work completed in 1 day. Home was left clean. Crew was informative and did everything explained at the time of the sale.
Not particularly pleased. I was not pleased with the delays of the install and the lack of communication during the process. It was one excuse after another. Once installed the windows were not checked or adjusted and I had to have the back out which took weeks. We could barely open most of the windows and once they came out, they had to reinstall one window and adjusted the others. They said the window opening as it moves upward is more narrow and that is what made the windows difficult to open. Finally beware of the financing company they use. It is Service Finance Company who charges 12.99% on their loans. When you call them to get information such as a payment change or a payoff, a recording comes on saying "This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information will be recorded and used to collect the debt. It is infuriating trying to get simple answers and being treated like a

If you are like me, and I guess that many are, you are finding out that it is very hard to find a quality replacement window product, as well as a comfort level that the installation will be done with quality and professionalism. The replacement window industry seems to work very hard at making these decisions almost impossible by way of missing or misleading information. Simple Google searches will not leave you any wiser than before you started. There are many good products in the market and many not very good products in the market, but in the internet world, they all look about similar. I did some very extensive and deep research for over 2 weeks. My research included web based reviews as well as reaching out to various manufacturers and corresponding directly with them. The gist of my research boiled down to a few key points that were very relevant to my situation. Your situation may be different. Single hung are more dimensionally and structurally stable than double hung. Also, single hung is sealed better and have less moving parts. About every vinyl window manufacturer uses virgin vinyl. Most window manufacturers use Cardinal E-Glass or similar, but these come in different grades, so you need to decide which is right for you. In Texas, blocking heat is more important than blocking cold. So, there are many similar quality products to choose from. The next issue is the quality and reliability of the installation team. In my opinion, this is a very important fact that can easily be overlooked in the competitive low pricing scheme. I determined that you can buy a low end window with a quality installation and you will have many years of good use. Inversely, you can buy a high end product with a hack job installation, and you will have problems from day 1. After all was said and done, I chose Statewide Energy Solutions based on 3 criteria; Product quality, Installation team, and price. All 3 were extremely good and represented to me the Best Value. The quoting process with James, was very cordial and no sales pressure. He understand I was in the process of evaluation and not ready to make a decision yet. I simply wanted to see the product and the price to do my own research. James was great. Next point was the installation team. Statewide Energy Solutions install team is contracted, as they all are. Nobody has their own dedicated full time employee install crew. However, the install team works primarily for Statewide Energy Solutions on a continuous basis. The installer, Scott, also did all window measurements himself and participated actively in the installation and finishing. I am so relieved that Scott did the installation, as he was very professional, very detail oriented, and cleaned up everything before leaving my house. They even swept the front porch leaves, which had nothing to do with the window work. The purchasing process was very smooth and fast. Everything happened when they said and people showed up when they promised. I can only say that I am super pleased with the process, the product, and the service and I highly recommend Statewide Energy Solutions for your window project.
Had windows replaced, and one is leaking since window sill is bubbling up but cannot get any response or resolution to fix.
March of this year had almost all windows replaced. In addition to false advertising as to the effects windows would have on our electric bill, we have a window sill that is obviously getting wet with rains because it has bubbled up quite a bit on one side. Attempted to contact the salesman initially but never got a call back. Finally my husband called the company, talked to a man who told him to send a pic since he didn't understand what we were telling him. We did this and never got a call back to discuss further. This window apparently needs to be resealed or something. Our salesman said to have them come back a couple months after install just to have the windows re-caulked. We can't even get them to come back and look at the one!
Would like to have the window re-caulked/re-sealed and/or replaced. Would also like to have the window sill replaced since I am unable to sand it down to fix it.
This is *** the President of Statewide Energy Solutions Inc. These homeowners are very nice people. Our goal, as with all customers is to have them be 100% satisfied. I received a call from the Mr. on 7/10/17 and asked him to send a picture of what he was trying to explain to me. (see attached). I contacted the homeowner on the 13th and scheduled the salesman and a service rep to meet them on the 20th to test the windows and replace the sill and re caulk as needed. 1 week later they sent pictures of the repair and I was appalled at the work our service rep did, It was awful. I immediately contacted them and the soonest they could have us send the original crew was a few days later. We had to order a solid wood sill from a custom mill-work company due to the unique size and shape. We received the sill on the 16th and installed it on the 17th. The customer is completely satisfied with the new sill but still questions the energy efficiency of the windows. Our windows have the best ratings from the government on energy efficiency in the window market. There is no better window. Something is not right somewhere. almost everyone of our customers praise us on the reduction of their energy bills and comfort of the home. I'am sending the head of the manufacturing plant to confirm the windows are the quality we promised. I believe there is either an AC issue or not enough insulation in the attic that has not been updated since the house was built in 1994. We will try to get to the bottom of this and help the homeowner any way we can.
Sincerely
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They actually replaced with a better sill than we already had , which was not the expectation. Windows are beautiful, but as he said we have not really seen the reduction in our kWh usage which is concerning. Otherwise expectations have been met.
