Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/09/08) */
The client is misrepresenting his case. Total amount collect6ed from this customer for repairs is $300 ($70 for diagnostic and $230 for repairs), not $370 as he claims.
The warranty on repair is only 14 days. Customer has signed Proof of...
Delivery Statement where the terms of warranties are disclosed ( on the back of the form). Customer assumption that it "SHOULD" be under warranty is incorrect. According to customer the scooter was running more then 2 month after the repair was done.
2 month later customer called again and sad that scooter is not working.He requested that this time diagnostic and repairs were performed for free. The scooter he has is an old equipment, where many thing can be not working and many parts might need to be replaced. In order to make the customer happy we offered him the following:
1. If the not working part is the same one that we fixed,we will not charge him for diagnostic or repair;
2. If it is a different problem and it needs different part(s)to be replaced, he will have to pay for diagnostic and repairs again.
The customer rejected our offer.
It is our understanding that we are not obligated to continue fixing this equipment for free for an uncertain duration of time despite on the customer assumptions. We strongly believe that we treated this customer fairly and made every effort to resolve this issue.
