It was nice they spent a lot of time with us explaining not only defects in the home but also explain how systems work and how to keep them workingThat evening of the inspection we received a very nice report, by emailLots of good information and very well documentedI would recommend Regal Home Inspections to anybody purchasing a home
I recently purchased a home and hired Regal Home Inspections They were highly recommended not only by my agent but also by a good friend of mine who has used them twice in the past They were prompt, courteous and professional They discovered a leak in the roof and mold issues in the basement that I was unaware of They explained everything to me and answered all of my questions They provided me with a very detailed report of their findings Based on this report, I was able to negotiate that the sellers pay for these repairs prior to closing Had they not been as thorough, this would of cost me a great deal of frustration and expense I could not be more pleased or grateful for the outstanding service they provided I will recommend them to everyone I know in need of a home inspection and will absolutely hire them again when I purchase my next home
Here's a list of issues we had:
Given a disc with all of our inspection on it only to find that there was nothing on it at all (we understand things happen, so we called to request that it be sent ASAP through email)
Never got ANY call backs regarding the issue and still had not received anything hours later (called multiple times to follow up with no luck, finally get a call back from someone saying we will get it by email that same night)
Waited until the next morning to check my email and STILL NOTHING! (after being told it would be sent the prior evening)
Call back again multiple times in the morning and still the answering service is unable to have any of the OWNERS call me back (how do you run your business this way?!?!)
Finally receive the inspection through email (still no phone call back though) and what do you know the house number is WRONG :( and not to mention one major point on the report was missing...good thing someone was there when they where doing the inspection and we caught it
I also expressed (through voice messages and email) that I was very unhappy with the service they had/where providing us and that I would like to walk away with a good experience instead of bad- but apparently that didn't matter to the owners and they couldn't even give me the decency of a call back to make sure I received everything or maybe even to apologize for the inconvenience??? (so much for customer service)
So bottom line is don't EVER expect to be contacted back (even after paying and making numerous phone calls to the answering service and OWNERS!) and expect to see some items missing all together from your report Also, make sure to check that the disc they give you actually has something on it!!! And lastly, GOOD LUCK
I would not recommend regal home inspections at allAfter inspection of the home several items were found some of which were needed for negotiation on homeThe final report was required to submit with the negotiations and regal failed to provide the reportIt's been over a month now since the inspection and regal has failed to make good on delivery of a report or full refund promiseI would suggest choosing another inspection company to due your next home inspection customer service is poor
Hello, I just had a wonderful experience with Regal Home Inspections and I wanted to share it with othersWe are purchasing a home in Birmingham and we go home inspections was referred to us by a friend who had had a wonderful experience with themDuring the course of the inspection they identified a very dangerous, recalled breaker boxOne that had led to several house firesAlso they identified several active roof leaks due to poor and improper flashing missing at the chimney and chimney ventsWe were able to negotiate with the seller and both of these concerns were taken care of by themSaving us thousands of dollarsThey absolutely exceeded our expectationsA job well done!
This company was hired by our realtor to perform a pre-purchase inspection on August 14th,The home had some evident issues that we questioned during the inspection, water marks on the walls and floor of the family room, water dripping marks on the sky lights, the age of the roof etcDuring the inspection the rating for the moisture on the floor of the family room was a 11, not too high but more than and was still summer and dry, however I wanted peace of mind and questioned several times the marks on the walls that almost appeared to be dried moldAs soon as the inspection was over we were going to re-negotiate the offer and my realtor and I asked Mr.Fritz Weber what were the major concerns we should mediate for repairs or additional concerns to discussHe listed the sump pump, the well bacteria levels and the electrical breakers that appeared to be too high in amperage for the gauge of the cablesAgain, I questioned anything else? and he confirmed the evidence of seve
