Review: I received a bill from Stat Lab for $161.50 for service done 12/7/13, threatening me with collections. They advertised BlueCross/BlueShiled provider. I contacted BCBS and they have never gotten a bill. The business no longer exists in town. All they have to do is bill BCBS and they will get paid. The letter came from Stat Lab, 1141 Dogwood Valley Rd., Tunnell Hill, Ga. 30755. Because they had a contract with BCBS, the $161.50 would have been lowered to maybe $100, est. No way am I going to send a check for $161.50 to a random address in GA, to who, I have no idea.Desired Settlement: Stat Lab bill my Blue Cross Blue Shield to get their due payment. (as advertised).

Medical Insurance claims were sent to Blue Cross Blue Shield on

numerous occasions with no payment received and the only response from Blue Cross Blue Shield about this problem was that "claims were never received".

Blue Cross (provider service representative) was emailed about what to do to remedy this problem and informed Stat Lab LLC to call Blue Cross's customer service. After numerous months passed Stat Lab LLC closed its operation and billed all outstanding debts to the patient.

Since this complaint Blue Cross Blue Shield has given Stat Lab LLC a specific name and address of one responsible person in the grievance that is now in the process of paying all Blue Cross claims. No patient monies have been taken until Blue Cross pays these outstanding claims. After claims have been processed any claim denied by Blue

Cross/Anthem will be billed to the patient at regular laboratory pricing. This is usual laboratory billing practice.
