*** In response to a complaint filed on March, 14, by *** ***, in regards to an unfinished job I performed at the customer’s home. It is true that the customer paid me in fullIt is true that the job was not finishedIt is that the customer *** *** called and emailed me numerous times. The job was finished to the point where everything in the home was in good working orderNothing was left which required the homeowner to be put in a hazardous or displaced fashion. The slider which I installed had a minor manufacturing defect in it, and I told homeowner I would order one through the manufacturerI placed that order, and to my fault, I never followed up on itBut the new screen is at the warehouse location in WalthamThere was a little quarter size patch behind the end table and the curtain which needed to be paintedThe homeowner said he did not have the paint, and I told him that I would get a quart and color match it. In the time I finished the job to now, I have had some issues with my shoulder and have actually lost a lot of time off workSince this was my 4th job which I have performed for the homeowner and we had a great working relationship, I did not even think it was such a large matter and he would understand and know that I would finish the work. I really did not think he would go as far as reporting meI replaced his microwave once and there was damage to his stove and without question, I paid for the damageI guess people have short memories. If the customer wants I can come and replace the screen, but he would need to supply the paint as the original contract stated
