I have called and emailed and left many messages to get a hold of this company with ZERO follow up. This company installed the roof on our home and it is leaking, I now need to get a hold of someone, but I am having the hardest time. I called every person that works there and left a message, asking for follow up.
No response from the company regarding damage to my lawn as a result of parking their truck on my lawn The concern was mentioned in November when we agreed to allow them to park the truck on the lawn so they could efficiently remove old roofing material ***, from M&R and I agreed if there was damage we would discuss it in the spring after the lawn was dormant for the winter I notified [redacted] on April regarding the damage He has not responded despite numerous attempts to reach him ***, the project manager told me [redacted] would contact me on Tuesday, May and I have not heard from him M&R continues to make excuses for lack of customer service, poor communication and incorrect information from [redacted] the estimator and others who work for M&R My roof was completed in November yet an inspection by the City of Denver was delayed for months because they didn't request a roof inspection until December 23, Sadly, since I used M&R in and was extre
I have a signed, legal contract with M&R Roofing They are having internal issues where partners are splitting up The owner will now not finish my job because he does not feel like he is making enough money He has part of my roof torn off and will not complete the job We already have sustained water damage due to their inaction The owner, *** *** is trying to extort more money from me for this job and for another commercial job that he wants to get

I hired this company because I am a returning customer to his businessHis company replaced my roof in May of & was totally satisfied From the start Matt was very Rude in the manner he talked with meThis all took place very fast as roof's are going on in a day around hereHe was dictating how the conversation would go and his approach was harsh, condescending, and treating in return by saying “Do you know who you’re dealing with" The roof replacement started on Wednesday July 26th and the following work was completed: 1: Old roof was removed, Ice & Water Shield and felt was installed on the house roof( Only Flats, VALLEYS WERE NOT DONE I have pics) 2: Front ¼ to ½ of the house was shingledOn this day after returning home from work, I noticed that the drip edge was not removed and replaced yet and the new shingles were being installed over the old Drip EdgeI also noticed that the old flashing was not replaced and calk was installed to cover up an issue with the work, compromising the roofRemoving and replacing the drip edge and the flashing were listed in the” summary report” provided by the insurance company as referenced on our signed contractOn July 27th the following work was performed1: Shed roof was removed and completely shingled2: House roof was completely shingled, On the morning of July 27th I inspected the roof to ensure other items in the summary report were being completed and noticed that new material wasn’t being replaced according to the contract and reportOnce again His construction crew continued placing shingles and covering up items that were to be replaced as newI also noticed issues that needed to be addressed with the structure of the roof that needed repair, such as wood rot, and a few holes in the trimI left Him and someone in office a voicemail message on the evening of 7/27/saying that there was an issue with the roof and no work was to be done, as the gutters were to be installed on 7/28/Had the gutters been installed on 7/28/as scheduled any issues that needed to be addressed would have been covered up and gutters would have had to be removedI extended Him a professional courtesy by stopping the work because roofs’ go on quickly and there is very little time to address issuesI have left voice mails, sent text massages, corresponded via fax, sent e-mails and had several unpleasant phone calls with himWe both have supporting documentation of our communication with each other and obviously this has been over a very short period of timeMy expectation from any business I have hired is to communicate and complete the contract as agreed uponBelow is a list of items that were not completed according to the “summary report” as provided by the insurance company and I believe there has been a breach of contractThe following items have not been completed according to the contract as outlined by number in the summary report: #R&R Drip Edge (was not replaced new, old material was left and attempted to be used) #Flashing, 14” wide (was not replaced new, old material was left and attempted to be used) #Scrape the service area & prep for paint (we believe this is in reference to the chimney so it can be resealed with the new roof, nothing at the house was scraped or prepared for painting) #Waterproof concrete & masonry paint (nothing has been scraped and no new paint has been applied) #R&D Drip Edge –Shed-(was not replaced new, old material was left and attempted to be used) #Flashing – pipe jack-Shed-(was not replaced new, old material was left and attempted to be used) Now he made a big issue when he did show up over Drip edge so just left it and agreed to have it removed from billhe said he was not a painter or mason so #and #is not him we have to remove that alsoAs walking around talking about all this his partner with him garbed can of spry paint and just finished painting old Pipe jack IT WAS NEVER REPLACED but have been charged for all pipe jacks to be replacedI also had issue with something called vent ridge that they installed WITH OUT TALKING TO ME ABOUT ITthe fix for that was tear it off and put regular cap on HOWEVER that did not fix the NOW 3" Gap cut in wood for the vent ridge so now my peak's are weak and I think compromises the integrity of my roofThey did fix 14" Flashing but that is all the metal replaced. He says that there was Step flashing installedI have pics from start to finish that clearly show he did notHe did fix PART of wood for guttersNow I find more issues I inform him he sends his guy out again & he fixed most of them but there is nothing he can do about VERY VERY POOR WORKMANSHIPThen I find out he did NOT have a permit at time of work being done yes he bought one but at time of work there was NO PERMIT Yes my roof did pass inspection However does not fix Gap HIS CREW CUT in my roof for that vent ridge that makes my ridge's weak! He says that there are vents on my roof to be replaced only vent total on whole roofHere comes the best part a roof that was only to cost me just over $16,has now cost over $20,Also I do be leave he did not remove money for #& #in his final Bill to meI feel that had I not acted quickly on all of these problems, items that were supposed be completed would have been left unfinishedI worked with him to rectify this issues and His company however; I’ve lost a lot of confidence in the workmanship that has been performed and it was not completed as agreed uponI feel that there was an attempt by his company to cover up old materials and charge me for new materialsHe made it very clear to me in one of our conversation by saying that my business was not important to him and He had other clients that were more important than meMy roof is not what it once wasI have Pictures of all of itThere is a warranty but I will not trust this company on my roof EVER AGAIN!
